Also, who are you referring to when you say that? Zoner "neutrality" doesn't really exist, in my opinion. If you get ganked, buy something bigger, gank them back. There are heaps of juggys/zoner caps around.

Unfortunatley, the zoners rather fail when it comes to bombers.

the real difference is - that in many cases of major proportions - zoners actually think before they shoot back. - that is a trademark of zoners.

we spent ages to work out a fictional treaty about a fictional portion of a planet with bowex. - and many a players were seriously involved in that.

it is not really so annoying to be shot at - that happens. - its just disappointing that its inappropriate. - you do not WANT zoners to react like other factions. - being shot at and make a counterattack with a fleet. - why should zoners do it? - its not their canon roleplay. ( <-- remember? - not all factions are alike )

many zoners do not WANT to fire back, thats why they re zoners. - many zoners WANT to fly large ships and not bomber ( which are only meant to fire back ) - many zoners like to fly capital ships, cuase they are also roleplayed as their home ( and you make it look like its something bad - yes, its me interpretating something you never said or probably never intended to say... )

the keyword here is "respect" - not some streetslang - but just civilized respect of a factions canon RP.

canon RP of zoners is NOT "not to get shot at" - but canon RP is that zoners still enjoy neutrality, no matter if you like it or not. - that is canon, you cannot budge it. -


i said it before i say it again... if you shoot zoners, if you deliberately violate their laws - have the guts to turn all zoners red to you and never use zoner installations anymore. - cause nothing is worse than a person that yells at zoners for whatever reasons just to go and buy his next piece of equipment as the nearest freeport.

If you want to pirate a Zoner, go for it, but at least have the decency to allow them to RP it out. I was on my LPI a while back, and a transport full of Cardamine came into view of Manhattan. I ordered him to stop, and he gave me such a hilarious reason of that the cardamine was for Outcast prisoners on the surface to help them wean off the drug, that I let him go.

If you pirate a transport that does more than just runs or shoots at you or "piss off" at you, then why don't you give them a chance? Value RP over credits.

Sadly, because we have no possible choice of tracking what zoner contributes and what doesn't we're just taking them as whole. If we let everyone go, its our loss, and frankly 2% of zoners chose to roleplay by bringing food, and no zoner roleplays by bringing pharma from cryer at all.

Zoner factions are purely democratic, and if you want to make a name for yoruself and be a true zoners then help out brothers a bit. If someone gets angered because of my post, they should really reconsider taking all this too close to their hart.

* Can demand Zoner pilots from any ship carrying them and can attack if the demand is ignored or refused
* Can only attack those who are : directly attacking Zoners or Zoner NPC faction allies, carrying Zoner pilots, diplomatically hostile to Zoners, or those who have violated Freeport neutrality

The epic hilarity of this thread has forced me to post.

I am in QCP, yet I don’t have a Corsair, nor does being in QCP mean I have to own a Light Carrier, shock horror. Wait...?

Mostly referring to Ivan here, if you want to bring Corsair and Zoner hordes into attacking Bretonia, well then great! We will have a constant wave of people to shoot, boosting activity to an all time high, and back to the old BAF style, because lets face it, virtually all factions have gone down in activity.

Threatening Zoners going to war with Bretonia over QCP in itself is just hilarious, not to mention threats of allying with Corsairs to openly gank BAF, especially when this comes from the source of "stop ganking pliz baf" accusations. Go ahead and send 10 Titans against a single Templar, be huge hypocrites, I will be looking forward to it.
