There was a mod I used to play (possibly THE most modded server ever made) called Ioncross: Total War.

The mechanics were as realistic as they could get. Thrusters had a drain and you could only do it so much and eventually you would have to dock and your ship would automaticly refuel with H fuel. The combat was hard but it was fun and added alot of realism
