I've been wanting to try my hand at modding vanilla FL, the only problem right now is that the ini files encryption is in my way and every thing I could find was hosted on lancers reactor.

Does anyone know where I could get a program for decrypting Freelancers ini files?

They're binary INI files, need something like BINI qdu. Can't for the life of me find a download link that works, since Lancer's rebooted the links I had were no good.

Try Andy or Doom?

Most, if not all, of the files that are used in Disco are uncrypted.
Use them as reference if you want, to gain your bearings in terms of modding.

I already have my bearings on modding, and I know the files in Disco are uncrypted, but I want to mess around in vanilla and any number of disco files will help me with that.

Thank you, it's exactly the type of thing I've been looking for.
