I played it for literally 30 seconds. thought it was gonna be a browser RPG a la Runescape. It sucks bawls. It's like Sim City except ugly and medieval, and nothing makes sense.
And it has absolutely nothing to do with princesses with big saggy boobs.

Evony is run by a Chinese group with a poor reputation in what is already an illegal business - WoW gold farming. There are a couple of good blogs ranting about it out there - can't find the links just now. Try Googling 'evolution of Evony adverts'. Might also toss in 'Civony' for a bit of variation; that was its original name, but not only was the name reminiscent of 'Civilization', they used the same font, even.

And don't, for goodness' sake, actually play the game.
