The bartender Mario Zarotti shouts over in Fat Niko's direction
"YOU BETTER NOT SHOOT ME NIKO!"
Fat Niko places his hand ontop of the gun and the other members rush off their seats frantically to his aid. Fat Niko laughs.
"Do not Worry Comrades, IN ZE MUZZALAND! Bartender sell Vodka.... Vodka is gold in ZE MUZZALAND! So Bartender can speak... sit ... sit relax getlemen."
"Penguino ... i respect penguins.... for penguins are also communists... like me... FOR ZE MUZZALAND!"
Fat Penguino is not sure whether to be calm or nervous at this point, but what he is certain of is that this new family member is clearly messed up in the head. Something, that can actually be used in the Familia's advantage if properly executed. Regardless such ideas will be pondered about later when someone is not having gun aimed at him.
"Ugh.. yeah penguins. Listen pal' you can't just go around shootin' people in this bar. Now we don't care of that dead waiter over there, he is nobody, but Mario here is a loyal member of this familia. I suggest we relax now and sip some off that fine Vodka you just ordered, ay'?"
Fat Paulie looked cravingly at the glass of vodka as it went from full to empty in the blink of an eye. He reached for the ashtray to put out his cigarette.
"Ey! Mario! Let me have one o' those will ya'?" He then shouted across the bar.
"One for you, Fat Paulie! Comin' up!" Mario shouted back.
Fat Paulie took a long look at Fat Niko, as he dug deep through the vodka shots. He looked over Fat Niko's shoulder and saw two men carrying out the corpse of the former waiter out the back door.
"So, Fat Niko is it, huh?" He reached his hand forward for a handshake. "I'm Fat Paulie, pleased to meet ya'"
"The Motherland, eh?" He again looked over Fat Niko's shoulder, but this time at Mario. "Mario! It's a desert out here.. Bring us some more of this vodka!"
A good few minutes later, the table was filling up with cigarette butts and empty vodka bottles.
With a few drunken attempts at thought Fat Paulie made little sense in his words, except for a few cheers.
"For the Familia.. And.. And that Motherland of yours!" He shouted and drank another shot.
Shortly after, his head fell to the table as he passed out.
Penguino and Niko laughed as Fat Paulie started drooling on the table.
The Fat Don enters the bar with 2 of his bodyguards behind him, and heads to a free table after taking a brief look on the "customers". He takes a seat, waves to the bartender and makes his orders:
-Bring me a beer and an explain what happened to that irritating cannibal, you know which one i mean...
-Right away, Don Antonio.
The bartender walks to the counter and takes out a hat from it and a beer from the fridge.
Tony notices the hat, he takes a sip from his mug of beer and then nods to the sight.
-Good.
The bartender bows.
-It was my pleasure, Sir.
And goes back to his work.
The younger bodyguard nudges the veteran.
-What was this about?
-Hpmf, you're new aren't you... You saw the hat with a small stone in it right? That is a traditional family message. It means Mr. Gomez the cannibal sleeps with the asteroids now, probably in the Von Roche belt.
The Don acts like he hasn't heard the discussion between the two and continues to enjoy his beer. After finishing it along with a smoke he turns to the older guard.
-Tell her i'd like to have some entertainment in my room.
The guard disappears to the back of the bar and returns with a young, pretty and also slightly dressed dancer girl.
He notices that the Don has already left to his private quarters so he follows his younger comrade and his master to the hallway.
Fat Alfonso washed his hands in one of the excuisite sinks, with their gilded water taps.
It is always a pleasure to wash the blood off my hands in those marble sinks., Fat Alfonse thought. He dried his hands with the silken towel and turned around to the door, which led to the bar. He recognized a piece of paper on the floor, went to it and picked it up.
Back in the bar, he laid the paper on the table, where Fat Niko and Fat Paulie had a cigar and a Mai Tai.
Comrades, what's this? I found it on the lavatories floor:
Fat Alfonso wondered why his comrades were so pleased about the doodles on the old piece of paper. Especially because he found it on the floor of the lavatory. He scratched his head with his pistol and lighted a cigar.
