Just installed and had a few goes against the AI to try and settle into things, its as good as I had hoped, not flown any helicopters or planes yet, and if I hear right, I can get all the booster packs free right?

Also, anyone want to play a newbie? I also managed to dig out my old microphone headset, even though the right side is broken :laugh:

Downloading the 1.41 then will get the 1.50 patch.

God dammit, I keep trying to get the 1.50 patch, but the download keeps cutting out just before it finishes :angry:

I am on a limited bandwidth contract so I'm going to wait a few days to try again. Downloading near 4Gb in one day is not going to be good for the rest of the month...

Ah well, vanilla BF2 for now.:unsure:

Anyways, the 1.50 patch... I've got the 1.41, and 1.5 patch locally, and I can put them in a 7zip so it's a bit easier for you to download:)

Nooo... Well that doesn't surprise me too much, I think 7zip isn't as efficient as a .msi in compression. I think.

If that happened with Firefox, pause and then resume the download and it should complete/continue.
It has happened to me for a few times.
