Oh, geez, and here I was thinking that we played to have fun roleplay rather than piling up cash. How naive of me... What do you think of the police/navy? They don't get money from enforcing the law. Are those not worthwhile as well?
Either you are here to roleplay or to pile up cash for your shiny battleship. The new changes do nothing to hinder our ability to roleplay, so there shouldn't be a problem.
I do not use my salvager as a way to get money. Can only get 20 mil and hour in it,now down to 10mil mining scrap.(not sure where this 40mil came from.maybe a junker mining, and loading a train or something).I use my salvager as a faction ship/RP ship. I know you and rest of .:j:. hate us,and love to knock us down, but we are here, official faction or not. We are here to stay. For cash i have 2 separate transport's,that can,and do make allot more. I also do not own a BS or any other cap, other then a zoner GB, so pls before you jump on me? get your fact's straight. .:j:. want's to be pacifist's,and run away? NP Not how we are going to do it.
As for gun's? i do not care we cannot use other gun's(my Recycler is all junker guns). It just erk's me that alot of junker's bought weapon's that were green on the list, and now they have to loose them all,or go crying to a faction leader hoping they can keep them. Some people spend allot of time getting what they have, and would rather not do it a second time.

Point 1: CONSPIRACEH THEOREH! I thought I'd never see the day I'd have that one turned against me. Oh well. No, I do not hate you. Nor do any other .:j: members that I know of. I dislike your general faction ideas, but this is a free server and you can roleplay however you wish.
Point 2: Why would anyone go around buying weapons (because you can't really find them in scrap fields like it should be, you have to buy them) when you could just buy our fabulous Barragers? Oh, wait, I see exactly why you would want to get other guns. Nevermind then. It's is a pity that people will have to give up their weapons, but hey, anything for a fairer playground, right?

We don't hate the new faction. In fact me personally, I'm interested in seeing how it plays out. The cold war thing was sort of dropped in our laps without consulting us and there haven't been any attempts to contact us about anything. But that's often how it goes and I prefer to roll with things than make ab issue out of it.
We've been around and seen a lot of upstart groups start strong only to fizzle once challenges made themselves known. I want there to be other junker groups to interact with and maybe take some of the indy guiding workload off our hands.
But if the thought that you're taking what isn't rightfully the .:j:.'S and thriving on some misconceived out of character hate keeps you warm at night, don( let me stop you. It's just incorrect and an unhealthy mentality to bring to a video game is all.
If you have some actual real concerns about my faction or its members, please feel free to PM me and/or Hawk. We're all just here to have fun and nake this universe work. All in good funM

Ten minutes to fly from Invergordon to New London, ten minutes or so mining to fill up my hold in the field, ten minutes back. I'd get 10 million, roughly, each run.
I don't know how someone was making 40 million off of it when I was taking the shortest routes possible and only made half that... And I was using the whole 3350 hold space of the Salvager. No Armor upgrades or anything.
What exactly was this person using to get 40 million an hour?
I have to agree on that one, can't imagine a single Salvager making that much on it's own. Not even these ALG vessels recently showing up in New London. I can however imagine it going that high with good teamwork, but teamwork should be rewarded while mining anyway, no? But well, I hope Dusty will finish testing soon

' Wrote:Not really seeing how junkers complain about not having many legal means of making money... isn't that sort of the whole point with junkers? (not quite pirates/baddies, but a bit shady in their dealings?)
I just saw this and had to make a reply. There are several good back and forth routes between Junker stations that only deal with legal commodities. Combine that with the fact that your chances of being pirated are lower than the chances of seeing a ship trading Synth Paste and it's a recipe for success.
Salvage drops are, very, very high relative to other mining commodites.
The main problem with this is that you need a larger number of people in transports for it to really make any cash out of it, more so than other commodities where the drop is lower.

Ah yes, junkers get nerfed because of white spaces in the tech chart and scrap prices "suddenly" drop at Ivergondon. Sad.:(
The reason for high salvage drops is that it sells for 3,200 on FUCHU prison, which junkers cant dock on.
And, It sells on Ivergondon now for only 1,500. It also buys on some random corsair/outcast base for some oorp reason. Notice how much gold/cobalt/copper buy for? 15,000. Thats beacuse they drop so little.
