"The Shattered Silo is a Gull class Transport ship that was hijacked from Synth Paste by the LWB after a raid along the trade lanes to the New Berlin system jump gate. Making it a ship that the LWB can use to trade in larger quantities, help raid cargo for a bit more credits or supplies for their own cause... or as one madman puts it, his own little medical bay"
"Belkin! Schnell! Schnell! I require assistance in here vith the vounded! Also for za record, I am a man of science! Not a madman!!"
"Ah, y-yes Medic, I'm coming!" Belkin said hurriedly.
There was an ill atmosphere hanging in the air, almost as if it was the gateway to some culmination or a gate to hell. There were several beds with wounded LWB pilots who were injured in some form or another, and were being cared for by the Rheinland doctor, who only likes to be referred as "The Medic". Nobody really knows his real name, likely he never said. Whatever his name is, he does his job... sadistically. Its rumoured he's in this line of work as a doctor to just fiddle around with the human anatomy, and he seems to enjoy it when he hears groans, or even screams in agony since he is not a fan of painkillers.
"Arrrgh! Oh God it hurts! Doc give me something for the pain!" said one of the wounded the Medic is tending to.
"Did zat sting? Sorry!" The Medic said sarcastically. He then continued to tend the the screaming patient with no regard for his welfare. The patient's shoulder was dislocated, and the Medic popped it back in with great zeal.
"ARRRGH!!!" the patient scream agonisingly.
"Another successful procedure!" The Medic told himself triumphantly. "Belkin, ve must get to Darmstadt depot and drop these crybabies off to continue their work for the LWB immediately! Pain is temproray! But Stuttgart is forever!"
"Yes Medic! I'll fly us there!" Belkin said to Medic.
"Vonderbar!" Medic said in excitement. "Darmstadt alvays has some patients I can fix. The healing isn't as rewarding as the hurting though. I must pay a visit to a Synth Paste medical division sometime." Medic then starts snickering to himself.

I have a possible solution to destroy the Synth Foods Corporation! But research and supplies are required.
The synth paste is a plant in origin, or a veed, but every weed has its killer chemical! Using this theory, there may be the possiblity to make humans extrete a chemical that can mitigate the nutritional value of the synth paste, and by using that the body would reject the paste. To put it simply, the person who eats the paste, would vomit it up!
This is a harmless solution to our great cause against the leeches of Synth Paste!!
But ze is a problem, I must find a way for the human thyroid to extrete this chemical without harming the patient, while the 'drug' as I will call it, must be inhaled in a gaseous form so ve may bombard several populations that are not dependent on the Synth Paste.
I understand that the paste is saving many lives, but it is not required to sustain our growth! We simply must build more biodomes and increase harvest efficiency on farming allotments and land.
For now though, I require live patients to test my thyroid experiements, since dead people don't make good experiments.
I shall call this drug "vindico", vich is Latin for liberate, which this drug shall do once I perfect it.

Personal Log
Today vas a very good day. I managed to recover after the little fiery incident with the alcohol in the hold while I was docking with my trading friends in Dublin. Zat was an interesting experience, but I am glad my healing gel works. Only caused two hours worth of skin rash this time!
After taking the usual necessary supplies, I moved to the Battleship Hood in order to try and get some other required supplies for my research, I came upon a Junker fellow. This pilot was very helpful in my work because he was able to get what I need without attracting attention. I told Belkin to make a note that this ".:J:.Beast's.Instinct" to go on the friendly notepad, since he got me what I needed for a decent price.
He was able to acquire the following:
100 "test subjects"
500 crates of pharmaceuticals
300 polymer units
50 optronics components
5 quantum multiplexors
5 Bio-Neural Processors
These supplies will keep my research on track for a good time to come, and test patients are hard to come by and will speed it up quite nicely. A very vonderbar transaction.
By chance, vhile I was vaiting for my supplies, I cam upon a ship at the Hood that was a racer it seems. He went by the zany name of Silver.Falcon. He was lonely and some funny things happened, I got talking about my research into a different form of gaseous cardimine, that doesn't alter the DNA of one's body. Even though I said it wasn't very successful, he agreed to take the drug in a small amount. Despite the fact is it distilled near the fusion core and put into an old medical injector, and he wasn't put off by the fact it is administered rectally. Most seem to run at zat point.
After ze... administration, the effects of the low amount of the drug was very quickly noticeable. It was like seeing a man after two nights worth of Oktoberfest! Slurring and hallucinating... it was very gratifying to not see him having explosive diarrhoea and necrosis symptoms as some of the previous tests showed, leading to death. After a while I realized I should not have let him pilot his Arrow racing ship... he kind of went out of control a little bit screamink "I AM ALIVE!". Or some nonsense. Here is a system chat capture:
I really need to come up with a name other then "Soilent Green". Sounds nasty and uncreative, but ze sobering gas vorked well on his broken psyche, and I got some research done at ze same time zat was quite amusing! A vonderbar day!
After zat hilarious experiment, I cruised back to Darmstadt for some more concentrated research on "Vindico" project. Still not got any solid research done on the new test patients. I vill report back on my progress in due time.
Bah who am I kidding, I've always wanted to say that! Vell the work on the anti-synth drug is coming along slowly I'm afraid, ze vork required to keep the Rabbids trained and sent on their way to the Synth compound is rather taxing on my resources. Therefore I have managed to pull some strings in hopes of purchasing a new vessel designed to have a much larger hold for me and my projects.
It has also come to me attention that during the testing with 'villing' patients on the anti-synth drug an unusual discovery was made. Synth beer; who vould have though that the bane of our existence, may become the salvation and potential income provider for us. The special properties of this drink are both partially medicinal, intoxicating and has a unique taste. Mixed result of like or dislike among the test subjects, but their health improved somewhat.
Ze Synth-Beer vich I shall codename "Thunder", some subjects had a boost of energy and stamina. Could I have found the next golden era of drinks? The beer contains some form enzyme that blocks the Synth-Paste protein from breaking down while allowing more minerals and vitamins from other food or drink sources to pass into the body more freely and more cleanly. This allows the kidneys and liver to function at a greater level, lowering the stress of ze bodily functions which then chains into the other organs. In a sense, it helps clean the organs while blocking a large amount of the Synth-Paste from being digested.
Synth-Paste can still pass into the body but only marginally; but making such a nutritious and alcoholic beverage of this type is astounding. However for every good thing, zere is a bad thing. Zis stuff is very delicate and difficult to reproduce. By my calculations it vould take weeks to make enough to supply 100 barrels of ze stuff in my vessel. I simply do not have the space or resources to mass produce such a beverage.
Zerefore, I have placed a request to the AGS higher ups for me and my crew to get a larger vessel. Ze Heron I have seen seems to be the perfect vessel. With those large interchangeable pods, I vould have more than enough room for my lab, my Rabbids, ze brewery and a storage tank for it. It also vould serve as a good supply vessel should the need arise.
Vell, I must get back to the Rabbids pen, zey're callink me to feed them. They're just so cute and cuddly!! Also, they seem to have developed a taste of people, I fear I have created cuddly man-eaters. I'm sure the Gaians could make good use of them... Hmm yes, opportunities awaits!
