With all respect, but adding a new Id is not that much more work than changing an old one. And still i see no reason why Junkers in Gallia need a special ID. Why not add Liberty Junkers, Rheinland Junkers, Bretonia Junkers as well? It just doesn't make sense.
And yeah, now the Junker Guard cannot even go to their own bases anymore, and not even their homesystem, because it is surrounded by liberty. Come on, that doesn't make any sense at all.

Oh, and we can, or rather, could, use a capital ship, the Rheinland Pirate Cruiser, but apparently we can't even have access to a measly light cruiser.
PS: To be honest, Gallic and Sirius Junkers should have different IDs. Their goals are different, their MOs are different, the only thing they have in common with us is the shipline ( and even that I think should be different).

I just downloaded the modupdate and quickly checked some changes. And now i see my "new" Junker Guard ID.
"Cannot operate outside of Gallia, the Tau systems, Omicron 80 and Omicron Alpha, Bretonia and Kusari"
(First of all, i don't understand why we should operate in Kusari, as Kusari normally is red to Junker Guard...but that's not my point)
Is that now what i've worked for? I got my Guard ID for my Salvager for showing i actually want to act as a Junker and really enjoy doing Junker Rpg (and not like some others purchasing the Salvager with normal Junker ID (which is still okay of course), or even Freelancer ID, just to get the ship). And it was not to easy to get this Guard ID, as you can imagine. I've never really felt like a Gallian or like i got a close relationship to Gallia, but indeed i felt as a Junker and i wanted to show that. That's what i bought the Guard ID. And i also wanted to stay more or less independant and fly through whole sirius with my Salvager.
So now, it looks like i have to stick back to the Normal Junker ID. Excellent...some hours of work wasted, as well as my effort to do good Rpg as a Junker (Guard). And not as an "Gallia Guard" or whatever this is meant to be now.
What do you (and especially other Junkers) think about these new changes? I myself will now stay inactive with my Junkerguard Salvager for about a week (otherwise i'd break rules with flying around. And of course, as much as i protest against this new rule, i wont break it as long as it is official) and just hope, the Junker Guard ID will be remade again. This just can't be it in my eyes...
So how do we get into Puerto Rico, or is that no longer the Junker guard system??

Yes, Puerto Rico is still the Junker Guard system, owned by the congress. Well, it seems to me that to get to your own guard system, the same system in which the guard ID is actually bought, you have to sneak in a hope no one notices you are breaking the rules.

It still is, but officially we have no legal way to go there anymore. Cool, is it not? And please note, from now on, you're a Gallic Junker and not a "normal" Junker anymore.
And to Akura: With all respect, but you sound like someone who only looks for the ship he wants to get, then searches the easiest to obtain suiting id and then doesn't care much about rpg anymore. You may try to get a Guard ID yourself without spoiling your rep completely before flaming us. If you don't got any real points to add to the discussion (and no, "Quit bitching already." is not a point) then please confine yourself to reading in this thread and don't write anymore.

I've been a Junker Guard before the update and that meant for me to be a "higher" member of the Junkers who does care more for general Junker goals instead of doing his own business only. And i think i've done good rpg with it. Why can't i do that any longer?
And i'm asking the others who say this change was good (or even call me a whiner): What am i supposed to do now? Shall i reorganize my rep again (hell i got whole kusari against me, just to buy a even more suiting ID for my Salvager. This would not have been necessary in terms of rules, i just made it for the roleplays sake) and get the normal Junker ID? Is that what is meant to happen here to people who invest more work than necessary into role play to make a step against "lolwhutters" and people who don't care much about their rpg? If that's what will happen, then i learned my lesson and wont again invest more work in rpg than absolutely necessary. I really like doing rpg, but if things like that are about to happen while so many others who do almost no rpg (as I said, i saw more than one Salvager with Freelancer Id and many more combinations which maybe even are allowed but make you just facepalm...) get no drawbacks from the Modupdate and laugh about us now, i see no reason to make a fool out of myself any longer.

Well, still it looks like people share the opinion, that Junkers and Gallic Junkers should have different IDs now. But why do i have to be the Gallic part now without getting asked? I never really liked Gallia much to be honest and i've always felt and played as a Member of the "normal Junkers".
Some people say the Developers could not have added a new ID because that would require so much work (oh come on..), but you cannot tell me that a split from gallic Junkers and normal Junkers was so important that these Factions could not share an ID any longer but still not important enough to create a new ID for the Gallic part.
My only hope is this isn't over yet...please admins, please rethink this new Junker Guard ID. You crushed my Charakter and many others out there...

I agree with Rudo & AJ here - playing a Junker is a state of mind & ID is little importance. A "true" Junker will always spot another "true" Junker & I (like Zoners I guess) am always frustrated when our ID is used as a loophole to expoit. We have Guard pilots at Trafalgar but that is only to denote the purpose of the ship i.e. to protect the station. The rest of our game time is spent in freighters & transports with standard Junker ID & to be honest good RP & politics protects our interests better than fighters & bombers.
Hear, hear... Regular ID allows flying Pilgrim right? In that case I'll keep my IFF and get regular ID - problem solved. Junkers provides best RP potential in Sirius (imho) and this ID change could only mean they are planning to introduce some changes in the future.
