' Wrote:They're not squatters, they paid for that ship because BAF wanted to decommission it. But sure. Let the BAF take the ship, and not allow mollies in it.
Or you'ld allow mollies there? Maybe you'ld have the bridge commander be the guy who's brother was shot in the last weeks molly assault on BAF?
Yeah I'm pretty sure there are explicit mentions of the Hood only being left alive because BAF didn't care about it as it wasn't really a problem.
Also this lame powerplaying threat crap to back up what is essentially an incredibly lame and risk-reducing gameplay 'exploit' gets an 0/10. And from the house that threw all its toys out of its pram because military battleships weren't shooting CSVs, no less.
Then it's settled!
An gentleman's agreement!
But seriously, all this because your friend wanted to "destroy" my ore? Not even profit from it, or tractor it, just to harm me.
I guess since that's normal, Corsairs should be able to blow up everyone?
And by everyone i pretty much mean that, because i meet like... 15-20 transports a day that are heading with goods to bretonia, or are bretonian affiliated, or have bretonian company ID.
Guess what, I still do it in limits of normal behavior.
I'm not saying your friend isn't normal, I'm saying that he should really try to pirate to amount that he can carry, or simply make mollies contraband the gold and all it's forms for everyone not allied to mollies
Wait what's the lame powerplaying here?
Entire discussion started from the thing that Kusarian ships have nothing to do in leeds and dublin.
Because he said so.
1.
You're taking Ore to our enemies.
You are our enemies.
We're swimming in it. You're not.
Destroying it or taking it all from you is perhaps the only logical choice for a Molly in roleplay.
2.
Just because someone else does it, doesn't mean you should.
Who knows? Maybe all those transports you see are those who are only interested in profit, and are completely OoRP.
3.
Contraband is something that lawful factions enforce. There isn't really such a thing on the other side of the spectrum. But yes, we are very very suspicious and wary about people carrying any sort of gold. It basically is contraband. And I don't see how a formal declaration of it being contraband would help anything at all.
4. Yes, because I said so.
Just think about what a real corporation would be doing, and what real Houses would be doing, and what everything would be doing if it were real. Not mining deep within enemy territory only to escape terrorists by landing on a base which is crawling with their operatives which wouldn't welcome you anyway due to repercussions the House would take against you.
I don't have an issue with Kishiro being in Dublin. That's a good thing. It's something to do, it makes people want to get involved, it's risky, there's money, blah blah.
But basically the way I see it, having them dock on The Hood basically eliminates all the risk, all the roleplay, and basically all the point in it at all.
Well, a formal thing as no blood diamonds or military vehicles towards Bretonia eases my soul, because when I find a player that transports it, he knows what are his risks of transporting that stuff, and I can claim it all.
But yeah look... No point in beating the dead horse, until an IMG actually voices themselves about the subject, I think there's no further point in saying what we said already.
Since you're a Molly high ranked person, perhaps you should write to IMG via communication forum and start it up. Now there's a RP story with development.
@Benjamin: more diplomatic, polite and more accurate answer than any of sprolfs. You're right, but I would still like to see a story out of this. I surely will not avoid Hood until IMG voices about the problem.

I like your points.
They're what I think, a lot of the time.
And yes, I'm going to talk to an IMG-ly person about this.
And here he is, at 25 to 1 AM to tell you all about the IMG.
Firstly, Freeport 4 is an actual Freeport, anyone, including our enemies, may dock there. The battleship Hood is NOT a Freeport.
Any mining corporations of any kind that even attempted to come within range of the Hood would be blown to hell.
"Oh hello there Kishiro vessel, I see you've been stealing our ore and are being chased by the Mollies, people we have no quarrels with. Why yes, of course you can land on our base for protection, we'll anger the mollies just for you"
Or perhaps not.
The Kusarians don't give a damn about the IMG. they've damaged Holman, and done absolutely nothing to help us. The bretonians are in place to take control of our bases and arrest our people in a heartbeat, cut off the tau areas from the omegas for us, and destroy our livelihood. In a debate over who to piss off less, bretonia comes out on top.
Simply put: you're kishiro? Stay off the Hood. You're BMM? Stay off the Hood. You're a mining corporation or have recently pirated an IMG? Stay off the Hood.
Thank you, and goodnight, I have school in... 7 hours or so and I'm tired.

Well, I guess you will be able to expect the same treatment in Kusari and the Taus. Rather piss off Kusari than Bretonia? No problem, but that still ends with you pissing off Kusari, which will have ramifications. IMG wants to trade through Kusari? Might become a bit of a problem for you. Want to bring in supplies to Holman? Going to be hard with a Battleship there to "divert" incoming shipments. Interestingly, IMG ships have generally been allowed to pass into the Taus with supplies that are on the contraband list because they are suppling their bases in the taus, doubt that will continue. Dont really think that supplies will be moving from Kusari into the Taus on IMG ships anymore. I have no problem with IMG getting into bed with the Bretonians in this conflict.... but please dont whine and accuse of power gaming when there are ramifications.
