I would check the news at the place you are trying sell the food at. It may have been done for a limited time to balance a trade event.

No news item available at FP9 or Corfu (also gives the ERR)

Getting this 'ERR' message breaks the trade window (you cannot buy/sell anything anymore) and you have to reopen it.

Going to get some food from GC to FP9 to test what'll happen.
