This is quite interesting... while I know, according to the other thread, that we're supposed to do some teamwork, I've noticed an increase in the number of Cap 8 Mining vessels. I've even seen one disrupting lanes when I was on one of my fighters. And they're the one that ask for the most, too. -_-

In my humble opinion, mining ships are awesome pirate vessels in terms of the numbers.
Solid armor, ten guns high capacity and a large hold to match.

Well, it's better than pirates in Cap-8 gunboats.
Well, those miners actually pretty much always win, they'll manage to destroy you before the escorts kill you, so they get this satisfaction of taking you to hell with them, if you pay them they get profit, and if they destroy you they hijack your cargo. That's pretty much what I complaint about right now.
I currently have a cap 7 pirate train... I feel like an idiot.
How many cap 8 mining ships have you really seen? Those people are either have no caps to put it on, no other way to spend there money, or they're oddly comedic.
Is pirating in mining ships even in RP? I mean, after all, they're lawful right?
Nah, mining ships are civilian. And a gunboat that is all anti-cap will kill you faster, and you probably can't kill it. Pirate transports are better, though. They have a larger cargo hold, power core, and a smaller size.

Semi-lawfuls, can't dock on mining corp bases. Basically, they're the people who weren't good enough to mine (And couldn't even be used as slaves for Daumann) so they hijacked their own ships and went Freelance. Their goal is to ruin Corps.
