Incentive to RP Capital Ships

I'd like to think I'm known for RPing my caps (Mainly the Immortal.Hunter and the [LN]-LNS-San.Francisco) and yet I have no RP for the San Francisco on the forums, does that mean I shouldn't have it?

Don't punish people who dislike writing and just want to have fun. Not all the cap users out there are idiots.

True, I know that we are not supposed to be biased when choosing which people will get their shiny caps but on a sub-conscious level we are biased anyway so why not let the people who we know are good RP'ers have a cap at a discounted level and then those who are not very well known around the community do what Dream said. People like Seth have done the hard yards to get their caps and RP them well. The new people around here will have to work like they did to become an established RP'er in the community. If we do it this way then most newer people will turn out to be better people in this place, if we have them write an RP story when they get here and understand what's going on then it can only lead to better things. We would no longer have people going around for two weeks trading, figuring out they no longer like the game and then go on a rampage in their new battleship and then leaving.

To answer both: the discounting would be like a less-extreme version of SRP request-only. You can still gather credits and buy a battleship all the same, but the forum RP would give a discount.

So Seth, you'd still be able to have your well-RPed Francisco, it would just be full price, as normal.

Just one point added, i would agree one that if the BSs were all on special request, like the Barge and special IDs.

I also think that their prices should go up not down.

Not Powertrading, nowadays is Powermining. Special request should be. If a ship like the Barge is special request, why not all BSs?

Yes make all BSes Special Request ones

And make it necessary to write a story for every BS you buy and yeah the Admins should approve of the story.

It should not be like

I was born with a silver spoon and my father is a fleet admiral and he died so His BS is mine YAY YAY. XD

Increase price for all capital armor. Let them powertrade if they want to PvP.

Then those RPers when evaluated they get discount for armor and then those PvP whores cant touch them without giving 1bil for cap8:)

And powertrading PvP whores add nothing to the server. Except more people to file reports about F1ing, swearing, and just getting blown up..

The main problem with this is that a lot of good RPers with cap ships would probably not bother with Special Requests or anything...

Only cap I have at the moment is shared access (with Dejavu and HMQ) to the RNC-Sturmvolk, it's a Battleship.

I know that if I ever get a cap (or more likely - a GB) to myself, I'll do my best to RP it... But I probably wont ever write a story for it...

Caps being special RP? Trust me, that's not a good thing. The SRP process is so slow that there'd be a 2 week to a month wait time.
