Comm ID: Admiral Firebird
Target ID: HF Fleet Commander Denelo Mori
I would like the ID of the SF ship mentioned and the details regarding the attack, where/when?...there have been no reports of an incident involving the SF and AW in the SF message dump, which indicates to me that the player may have been acting in his own accord and may be subject to discipline depending on the circumstances of the alleged attack and what information was given to him at the time by SA. The names of other ships involved would also be appreciated.
As of this moment the BSG are not to be contacted in relation to any engagements that happen as result of HF or AW agression. In essence they are neutral in this regard. However, if they are the victims of HF or AW agression we are duty bound to offer assitance for we do not allow politics to cloud our loyalties to past comrades-in-arms.
My compliments

Sir, Request permission to station the LNS Thunderbolt at FP4. I will not stand idle while these renegades threaten my home. As you know, every attack on California during the last fight was launched from Magellan. I need Cpt. Rhaegar to keep watch on the fleet movements and to provide warning. He will operate under strict orders of defense (will not fire unless fired apon) but will establish our presence in the system and hopefully avert this war before it starts. However I believe that war is coming and we better be ready. I don't want to close CA to incoming neutral traffic but I will if things progress as they are. Most kids on Planet Los Angeles are helping to build shelters because some mad man is putting a fleet one jump lane from their home. I will not allow this to happen. Thank you. Adamson out.

FP4 is neutral in this regard and Magellan is an open system. However, we shall not throw H-Fuel upon the fire. At this moment we are still in the middle of talks. You, and Cali Squadron, shall remain on alert but within our space. You may conduct limited patrols along tradelanes, but may not house ships within Magellan.
My compliments

What? Sir, we have them weakened! We must make the final strike. These terrorist fools have plagued our wonderful country enough. However, this is only my personal opinion. I have some... bias towards the scum after an... ordeal with the XO's er... *cough* girlfriend. I swear, I had no idea she was a Outcast until we.... I saw a tattoo... Never mind that. Back to patrols
ooc: just a bit of comic relief in a tense time. I'll send HF's official response in a few minutes.
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.

DOD / Admiral Osorojo,
I find it very hard to believe that just because Admiral Nusston followed a criminal into Vespuci (this is all in Char, I'm not sure what actually happened, and even less sure I care.) that now my home system is going to erupt into a battlefield again. Haven't the citizens of California had enough? To my good friend Admiral Nusston all I can say is what the *&*^! But none of that matters now. For better or worse "WE TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN!" I can't believe that the pirates and traitors of the HF think they can now dictate terms to us like some errent child. I'd take the side of Nusston over the entire AW, HF, Hegast, whoever combined. This has to stop. We do not bend to terrorists! Do I have to remind the council what happened to Los Angeles after the last "war." We recieved no reperations. We were given no aid. The only negotiating left to do is at the business end of my Dreadnaught. Peace at these prices are too high. Adamson out.

I also must side with admiral nuston he has been here a long time and we all know what kind of person he is. He's impulsive and yet he's still been kept around this kind of thing is to be expected of him so SA as a whole is as much to blame as admiral nuston as an individual. I was told "SA looks after it's own" so let's show it. Plus I've never seen pirates punish their pilots for actions agianst us.
Reduce alert status in relation to the AW and replace to Neutral. It seems this sad event was predicated on a misunderstanding. Please refer to archive for more info. However, the talks continue with HF so remain on alert and only engage if HF do not leave Liberty space after 3 warnings listed in General Announcement.
My compliments,
Governor OsoRojo of Texas (Asst. DOD)

Was doing patrols in Texas, when scanners picked up a Phantom in Colorado. Phantom suspected to be in a bomber. I hastened ino the Colorado system, where comms were opened to the Phantom Vessel. Some trash talking ensued, as is usual from a Phantom pilot. No direct scanner confirmation was received.
Some while after entering Colorado, a Helghast ship, hailing on system comms, announced he was selling contraband. The nerve of the Helghast!!! As soon as my short range scanners picked him up, I requested he drop his contraband and leave Liberty. He replied, announcing that I had found myself a fight. It took him only a few moments to find that he had found his maker, and began to flee around the tradelanes of Colorado with the hull of his ship barely intact. I kept within scanner range at all times, just waiting for my chance to put the final nail in his coffin.
I got my chance when he made a mistake exiting from a lane half way through. My cruise disruptor was true, and my guns even more so. His hull burst open and scattered his contraband into space.

Looking through the contents of his hold I found no pilot. It seems he got away in this instance. I was concentrating hard on retrieving the illegal cargo, that I may have missed him ejecting.
