Hmmm, maybe just go with the age-old no-tagger. Makes people wonder what you are...
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.
RP Story (Still deciding whether or not to finish)
The Wild can be found around the New Berlin system (try around the Sigma 13 - New Berlin jump hole), that much I do know after my Container Transport got blasted to dust by a group of 8 of them. IMHO they are just a little two powerful - they overpower any lawful NPC patrols that come across them in seconds. Lowering the group size might help. Wouldn't a German name be better? "The Wild" sounds a bit... well... silly.
They're OK imnsho, they hurt a lot for that short route, they should be.

In my not so humble opinion? Teehee, acronyms are fun!
I haven't encountered Das Wilde yet, but they are allied with the Nomads. Perhaps someone has asked and answered this elsewhere, but I'm too tired to look. So, without further adieu, lemme ask:
Why are the Wild (Das Wilde sounds cooler) and the Nomads (or die Nomaden) allied? That seems to indicate that Das Wilde are the, oh, what's their name... the crazy people that the SP game is based on.
Ergo, my REAL question is:
Are Das Wilde and the Uber-Artifact People one in the same?
Well, maybe you'll just fly through Frankfurt if the jump hole is too risky for ya?:)
Wilde control the jump hole to gain faster access to Nomad worlds and re-unite with their masters. And yeah, I do like the german name... will change it.

You can put it pretty much that way, read the infocard when you meet them. I encourage you to go to New Berlin through the Sigma-13 jumphole. You're bound to be warmly welcomed by them (and their guns). Thick shield+armor advisable and encouraged.

'Das Wide' can indeed remove shields and armour, even level eight on a destroyer with the best shield
available. So don't sit around and engage them without a backup plan.
Nice thing on their placement around the Sigma 13 jumphole is though, stops the pirates hanging around there.
Leave them alone, a good trade route should be fraught with a little danger. Life is never easy ...
