Sindroms.... its ok you should be able to use it

I used Spatial with Freelancer IFF, Pirate ID, Corsair Tizonas and they all fit together aslong as i made a RP bio.... so, if in doubt... write bio, after all, even if your version is not "legit", it might just be ok if you got a good enough bio to make a SRP request if admins give you troubble

In the Wiki it says that the Corsairs have national pride and find their identity in their vessels and wouldn't dream of using anyone else's.

Take that for whatever it's worth.

It is sold on an IMG base to which the Corsairs are hostile. But, should the RP be limited to In game limintations, because the ship is not sold on a civilian base.

That's the same problem as some of the DSE players have. The civilian heavy tanker is only sold in Rhineland and Gallia, who wants to go all the way to Gallia for it? And since you need the ID to fly the ship you can't go into Rhineland IRP (remember it's a war zone and DSE is a Liberty corp).

EDIT: admittedly some people still go and get it when the server is low but that is not the point.

Now, considering the changes to the civ id, it shouldn't even be a problem.

Buy the ship on a Recruit ID before getting the proper one?

the civilian ID only allows for cargo vessels with a cargo hold of 630 or less (basically only freighters). Unless they have changed it again.

Some people don't plan, they get an idea into their minds that they are going to join a faction and have a ship. They rush head long in all the excitement and then find out that oh dear, the ship is in enemy space.

The wiki is not the rules, nor is it official.
