Reading is a powerful concept, you should try it some time. Your own weapons would be boosted, so you wouldn't need to use anything else. You'd get the 10% just like everyone else, even if Flashpoints are weaker than every other gun at the moment.

If you want plain vanilla icecream, that's fine by me. But I prefer orange chocolate chip. In taco shells. Next we'll be making all ships have the same stats as well?
Yes. I read. Civillian weapons, even when boosted with the rest by the same amount, to pardon my brevity, suck. And when those corperate factions use a diffrent gun, all their opponents are boosted 10%.

I need to lol. Really.

That sounds oddly ...appitizing.

Starlancer, think it. what he means to apply would be similar to the starlancer weapons system. Well, ships woudltn have fixed guns......
ooh, I got you now. Sorry, I misunderstood what you said before. None the less, the same would apply to every other faction any way, for example a Liberty Rogue could use Krakens, but they would suffer a 10% penalty. Flashpoints are due for a boost any way. If they were buffed up to current standard then there wouldn't really be a problem.
I don't remember Starlancer's weapon system that well. Isn't it fixed weapons and customizable missiles? That makes things kinda limited in regards to customization.
Meh, true. this would be like Starlancer with everything customizable but combines gun and Missle slots. THe part I was calling attention too was the fact that erveryone In Starlancer had the same weapons at their disposal, There was No "alliance" or "Coalition" gun.
Personally, I value Freelancer's diversity. In a world where everyone has access to the same guns, it won't be long until the 'best' of the lot is determined and used indefinitely, making all other weapons redundant. So in the end, what we have is a mod where everyone uses the same weapon, save a few people. Well, if that's what you really want then it's possible without ruining the diversity that some of us prefer, just remove the rule and everyone will grab the best weapons in the game, save a few people.
Cept the guns In Starlancer were balanced enough that any one wasnt better than the others, they simply did difrent things better. Honestly, enforced diversity isnt good for people utterly screwed by their cannons, Like the GMG.
Everyone stops whining about what they've been given, just takes it, and locks and loads.
I've never once complained seriously about Trefoils, (the Molly class nine) which aren't known for being very good weapons. PvP is incredibly second to RP.
I would that everyone else follow this example I hope I've set.
