Lately, there are lot of complains from merchants (read as traders, miners) that they are attacked by Farmers or Hogosha, and the Navy and Police don't do anything.
You must get something straight, Hogosha and farmers are semi lawful, yes, exactly like junkers. Exactly?... well, no.

Junkers are considered (not take offense you junker boys and girls).... wait, are junkers considered???
If you don't get it (because my english is not that good, to make sarcasm works well) junkers are pretty trash. They are not criminals, by cannon, but they are some kind of lowrats whom would rob you as soon as the police turns in the corner. You will see junkers more assosiated with the local pirates, than the local lawfuls.

Now, hogosha and farmers, they are different. I'd like to call them Samura's dogs.
They are semi lawfuls, they do pirate (no that I've heard of it:P) but they are in good relationships with the local lawfuls.

Let's put an example:
[LN]-Alexander.Casero is contacted by a trader, informing him that, his ship is under attack by a junker. Kindly, and quickly, [LN]-Alexander.Casero will travel to the location, to verify this information, and take cards in the thinig, most likely he will arrest the Junker (if he's found in piracy), or at least he would defuse the situation, if things are not cleared enough.

Now, [KNF]Hajime.Hiroito is contacted by a trader, informing him that, his ship is under attack by a Farmer.
Kindly, and quickly, [KNF]Hajime.Hiroito will answer that he's busy at the moment, and he will arrive as soon as he can.

That could be seen... wrong, in the eyes of non kusarians or Kishiro's (DIE KISHIRO DIE), and you are in all your rights to complain about it, but in RP.
Yelling and kicking that it's OORP to not assist when they are being pirated is not the way, or that the farmer/hogosha CAN'T DO THAT.

Every house work on its own way, a junker pirating in Liberty would be heavyly fined, a junker pirating in Bretonia would be escorted out, a junker pirating in Rheinland would be executed, a hogosha pirating in Kusari would be.... encouraged?:P

Not really, as they can't/shouldn't pirate in front of lawfuls, and they don't.

IMPORTANT: Not all the players who RP a kusarian act in this way, this is a general guideness of how to relate with kusari's lawfuls.

And this would be one of the reasons why people think that Kusari RP is hard to grasp. People in the game think that everything should one way and that way should be:

Trader meets unlawful
lawful helps trader

and some people can't grasp that that is not how it is done in Kusari.

I found Kusari RP to be very intimidating for a year or 2 (oh geeze, have I been here that long?) but now that I've gotten it explained to me and done it it has been SOO much fun. It's not like any other house though.

My advice would be to team up with a player faction and learn from them.

Yeah, in Kusari, it's:

Trader meets pirate
lawful helps pirate

HISPANIANS, FOR THE GREATER GLORY OF HER PEOPLE

Kusari is the toughest RP out there, I mean face it, Rhienland and Liberty and Bretonia are the simplest RP's out there. Hispania too, Drug pushing colombians, Generic cannibalistic pirates.

Rhienland :
Unioners --- A labor union movement, shipyard workers
Red Hessians --- Unemployed Miners
Bundshuh --- Terrorists, looking to overthrow govt.
LWB: Unemployed Farmers, pushed out of business by foreign competetion.

Bretonia

Gaians: Against terrorforming AKA Hippies/Treehuggers
Mollies : Seperationist, They only want dublin.

Liberty :
Liberty Rouges -- Generic, low crooks
Lane Hackers --- Unique, probably one of the most unique in sirius. Rather hard to understand. --- Computer nerds, from Ageria.
Xenos: Similar to LWB, Unemployed workers pushed out by foreign competition, terroristic.

Hispania:
Corsairs --- Generic, Canniballistic type Pirates Of the Carribean.
Outcasts: Colombian drug lords.

See, Its simple. Kusari, however, is not, this is probably the reason for all the loltrader confusion.

Not really.

I'm not putting kusari in the top of Roleplay between the houses.

Because you explained it too simple, I can do that for kusari as well.

GC, drug addicts. Generic pirates.
Dragoons, Former samurais fallen in disgrace, aka pirates
Outcasts, Drug dealers/addicts, aka pirates.
Farmers, Coorporation pirates, aka pirates when no one is watching.
Hogosha, Gangster, aka pirates when no one is watching.

Everyhouse is as complex as you want to look into it.

And I'm not trying to start a big "which house is better", but, I'm trying to lower the rant/whining/complaining OORP in game and forum.

Mining Ore in Pennsylvania = >1 hour or so

Max load on arrival for a 5k transport = 75million credits

Being declared 'MrawrCabbage' as your ore magically disappears = Priceless

All that begins must end.

Arent the Golden Crysanthemums all women? Thats a unique characteristic.

What makes the other houses so generic and boring, makes kusari so interesting and hard to understand.

Odd relationships between lawfuls/unlawfuls. More than one quasi-lawful organization. I dont know how to make people understand certain houses... I suppose more lawfuls out might make it less of a "LOLWUT YOU'RE NOT HELPIN ME, KNFZ!"

Well, every house is unique, if I want to play a dirty corrupt police officer, I'd go for the LPI.

If I want a plane and simple little prick I'd be a rogue.

A totally xenophobe, well, a xeno.

Well, Kusari and Liberty are the houses where I play, but I believe that if you spend some time in the other houses, you can find an unique role for each faction.
