I think it's interesting, but a little bit off for our communty.

It's not just that we get rid off a certain type of sanction report. It causes two bad things to happen, as well:

1) The RP factor that comes with guns is irrelevant. Everyone just uses the same "generic" guns, with mortal enemies sharing the same weapons. Does that make sense at all?

2) As mentioned before, people will eventually find the "best" guns and use them almost exclusively. This could promote PvP on a scale that would retire RP to a secondary role instead of a primary one.

Last time I played Mechwarrior 4 there were maybe 15 types of guns to choose from?

Disco has 57 lvl 9s.

Can see how we can have 57 guns that are all good at something so that all are used.
