As you can see boys and girls, routes are opening up to us all over now. Please take full advantage of these
opportunities afforded to us by this unique position now in place with Lexxian ...
In other news, the sad bancruptcy and following demise of the CST corporation has brought another very
experienced trader to our ranks.
Rick Deckard, who you have undoutedly seen around Sirius will be flying under our colours, when his ship
registration paperwork is finalised. [IND]Rick.Deckard will be our newest VP ... Usual pleasantries apply.
That is all.

I'm on New Tokyo, and the grease monkeys are currently banging the dents out of my ship. The cause? Bloody Wild. Got jumped by five of 'em coming back via the New Berlin/Sigma 13 hole. And they gave me a hellava hiding.
These aren't your run-of-the-mill pirates.... they carry Hornet CDs and they WILL disrupt you, big train engines or no. Running is not a option. They'll drop 600,000 worth of shield in before you can scratch your behind. You just better hope you're close enough to either the jumphole or the New Berlin trade lane, before they get ya.
I was lucky this time round.... couple of Hessians stumbled into the frey, and drew some of their fire. Poor buggers didn't last long. At least I managed to drop two of the b**tards before I did a runner.
So just be careful taking the Rheinland/Kusari "shortcut"... these mongrels sit astride the S-13 jumphole pretty much continually. God knows the RFP is conspicuous in their absence around that place. Below are some cuts from my log (don't laugh too hard). Now thinking about mounting some real hardware on those gun points....

I appreciate the offer to do some serious business with you guys. I'm currently stuck at Uli Rouge, Gran Canaria (from where I'm sending this message) without a ship. Due to Fnordie's stupid idea we lost our Whale and a lot of other stuff but that's another story. Those cloaked Nova Missiles really should be avoided at all costs.
Anyway, I was worried that possible bankruptcy of CST could pull me down as well so I prepared well for this option and diversified my assets into different shares. Therefore it takes some time to convert them into more available capital and start trading again. In the meantime, Fnordie 'plays a bit' with the reputation database to make some of our very good friends think that we are not that good friends any more to gain some space for other possible friends and so on...
I already ordered my shiny new Large Train and had it delivered here at Canaria. The ship registration should be also completed soon so everything that can is in motion which is correct. I just hope we don't get kidnapped from this lovely planet this time. Who knows, one never gets bored in the company of this mysterious kusarian ambassador.
I have finally gotten this legal stuff figured out. Trumped up charges, had me holed up and not even a call. Impounded my ship, cargo and jailed me and the crew. Just got the lot out, all charges dropped for lack of evidence...Ya think? I'm no smuggler. Anyways, we are back at Manhattan and about to get a new ship. I've been putting our resources together and we are up to a Starflier! Soon we will be out there cutting the stars again, see you there.
We are all currently spread all over the Sector and omnipresent. Give any of us or our associates a holler if you need backup or anything, you'll get sorted out.
spreadthewordage ends:
If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
I second that. If you need funds for a new ship, give us a holler. (Remember that our tab at Newark is covered by our wonderful CEO, so don't worry about that:)

Well the trials for the new ship are over, and I'm finally happy with the new crew (although most did make it off the old ship before she blew up in Theta), anyway, with trials over I'm going to start for filling those contracts again. And wanted to thank IND for their support and the recovery of my ships escape pods.
In other news, the top bosses at Gateway have been very impressed by the showing IND has made, and have put forward two more traders for joint operations, although they will not become a official part of IND, it's been decided that I act as a go between for the two companies, but lines of communication must be maintained on all levels.
I am proud to say I am back up and running, soon to head to the edge worlds for extensive upgrades and armament. Currently in a helpless whale, but only till we get the funds for the Transport or such. Either way you will be seeing more of me. Well I see Pete and Onca are still around, glad to see that. I remember dragging both of you out of the Bar at one point in time. Sorry bout that. Yeah Pete that day you woke up in some guys arms, it wasn't anything bad...just hadn't met ya yet. See ya all out there.

I agree with Izaak, the space in my Raven Claw is horrible. Though lucky for me I got my guns directly through the manufacture. Instead of waiting a year for Jay to buy them...
Izaak a word of advice. Don't force yourself to rely on others, I suggest doing it all yourself.
As in when Bettie tells you to form when flying close to a Planet, DON'T DO IT!
