I'm willing to buy an Pirate Transport for pirating but I dont know what is the right weapon set-up for this purpose so please post here your opinions.

Given that you can, in fact, kill a gunboat (with enough time) with just six of them...

2 Type 1's and 7 Type 2's. Only Problem is the type 1's prevent energy from recharging between power hungry type 2 shoots so you'll run out of energy quick if they start wailing on your shields. Full Type 2's should be good or even 1 Type 1 and 8 Type 2's.
