' Wrote:As pointless as this thread is, you guys are forgetting the damn hole to Gallia in OC space. Specifically O-80.
That minefield is easy to get into on the OC side. Not so much on the Gallia side.
getting in was easy! The bomber patrols for GRN and GRP are only a little harder to kill than the level 19 BHG patrols in the omicrons. Also, there are plenty of neutral (to me at least) Council and Maquis NPCs that you can side with.
Remember my RP is that I'm trying to get an outcast involvement with the Gallic revolutionaries/unlawfuls, and a neutral rep is as good a start as any.

i went through orkney, do you think im stupid?
Its within the outcast ZOI, so I figured it was as good a way in as any. Also, its only 2 jumps from the Cali base, making it feasable in role play that I could stage from there.
You're missing the point. You can't realise good defences inRP. NPCs can't fly and their number is rather low, stations are weak, w/e.
I recall Malta having planetary defense grid with nukes, but that doesn't stop 8 legates and 2 full solaris osiris to hang right outside the docking ring. Nomad patrols in Omicron Iota can't hit anything fighter-ish while they should be instantly pwnt, as well as capships, and stuff.
So is Gallia, sneaking in pwning NPCs left, right and center doesn't mean you can do the same within RP. In theory that Guard station would block the exit from the minefield and send a bunch of patrols to vaporize the intruder.
