A young, clean-shaven man of average height and build, dressed in a typical tan-coloured Zoner jumpsuit was seen to land an Eagle - an Omicron Supply Industries tagged Eagle - on Toledo recently. A brief perusal of Order records would be sufficient for any interested to discover that the ship was not new to the planet, having been an escort for deuterium convoys and a participant in the battle against the Nomads when the Leonardo was being taken to Omicron-100. Neither was the man himself - indeed, it's not unlikely that at least a few ground security personnel recall him as 'that weirdo Zoner who stopped to refuel and then asked to take a shower, of all things'.
This time, however, the request was 'Please have this datapad delivered to a senior officer, and could someone point me to a bar?' And so the datapad was delivered, and the Zoner set off in search of - apparently - a Sidewinder Fang.

Dear Sir,
I doubt you know me. I'm one Zoner amongst many. Work for Omicron Supply Industries, which you no doubt do know of. And I have sought and received OSI's blessing for the request I am about to make.
I am currently in possession of an Eagle. Decent fighter. I'd like to supplement it with a second fighter now, though. OSI is moving to the Taus, and it's a wee bit remote out there - if there's trouble at the Freeport, there aren't so many Zoners about to deal with it as there are in the Omicrons. Thus, I am seeking to acquire some heavier equipment - in particular, one O15A 'Nephthys' or alternatively an O42A 'Bastet'.
With it, I would be interested in Order-made subsystems. While Zoner facilities are certainly capable of outfitting a ship properly, it seems best to make certain that the electronics are compatible with the ship. Stored on this datapad is a list of specifics.
So. The last bit about the ship. Weaponry. I am quite certain that one Improved Debilitator Mark II shall be on the list. It is a common enough gun. The rest, however, is somewhat esoteric. I am aware that the Order has reverse-engineered Nomad technology, and that weapons using it have been produced and can be mounted on fighters. I'm interested in acquiring a set for the fighter. As many as the Order can make available. For the remaining gun mounts? Reaper Mark V neutron blasters. And other odds and ends, such as a mini razor.
Now, I figure you're asking 'why should we provide this Zoner with such a thing?' I've fought Nomads a few times. So have plenty of folks. I've escorted convoys of supplies for the Order. Thank the ones who acquired the goods and were piloting the transports. So: I'm also willing to adhere to conditions that the Order may set down with regard to its use; the current intention is not to take it beyond the Taus often, and never to use it for anything but defensive action. If the CEO asks for it to go elsewhere, it'll go elsewhere provided its presence would not be violating the laws of any House or otherwise antagonize the locals.
On top of that, I am willing and able to offer substantial monetary compensation for what is provided so that the Order does not lose out. The numbers I'd suggest are in the attached document. The money would be provided to the Order before the production of the vessel begins, though I understand that issues may arise where Nomad technology is concerned, so would wait for word on the success - or lack thereof - with installing it prior to transferring funds.

But, I am afraid that OSI's blessing will not be enough. As for all Zoner members which asked access to Order equipment and vessels, we need approval from Council Of Zoners. We have that policy for some time now and all Zoner members required permission from COZ for accessing our equipment.
I hope you understand, and I am sure it will be no problem for you as respected OSI member to aquire one.
And about reverse-engineered Nomad weapons, I am afraid we can not give you access to those under any circumstances. Those weapons are partly still in development, and even our ships are not allowed to have mounted more then 2 of them. So, request for Nomad weapons has been denied.
-Ship loadout will be your choice,(without Nomad weapons of course) and there will be no extra costs then the original price at our weapon dealer.
-Agreed price for all of the equipment will be 36 000 000 credits, which can be transfered to Order|Bank, but after getting approval from COZ and after aquiring needed equipment.
So, after you show us signed approval from Council of Zoners, you will gain permission to our facilities for aquiring asked equipment.

Regarding the alien technology: should two such guns become available in the future, I would be interested in making an exchange for them; you need just ask and I shall see what I can provide.
In response to Captain Gunson: I suspected it would be risky should a Hunter be near, though the warning is appreciated. Fortunately, the Bounty Hunters Guild does not - to the best of my knowledge - operate in the Taus, and its operations in nearby Kusari are extremely limited.
I shall contact you once more upon receiving a response from the Council.

I would like to apologize you for mistake on our side. I am sure you are aware of newly formed Zoner Alliance, as OSI is member of it. Seems our offices missplaced notification about that change in Zoner Politics body which caused for us to use wrong intelligence in answering to your request.
We have been swamped with paperwork and all kinds of reports in last few weeks and this info about OSI leaving CoZ slipped past somehow.
That was the reason for asking from you to get CoZ approval fo use one of our crafts as we weren't aware of OSI current status in CoZ.
But since Council of Zoners is not valid anymore to give such approvals for OSI members,
I would like to ask you to aquire new approval from Zoner Alliance.
