Seriously. you must be blind. It moves Slow. if you cant avoid a snac from a far distance ( If your a GB or fighter.. Maybe cruiser) Its easy even a 4yr old could do it mate. nO offense
BS turrets/solaris are long ranged.

Even the RM BS can dodge a snac at that range. Here's a tip: don't sit still when in a cap. not even when in a BS. keep moving all the time. problem solved.

If bombers had to get in any closer to the Maryland than they already do, there'd be absolute anarchy.:mellow:

EDIT: What this means to say is, the LDN can actually dodge an SN (or two out of three if all three are fired at the same time from different angles) from just outside solaris range. Now, you said it takes .1k to aim and fire. But for someone under fire and being distracted by the fighter guns pounding him? Possibly .2, and he wont be able to pay so much attention to the BS he's trying to shoot. That, my friends, is the perfect time to ram a Battlerazor down his throat. Should bombers become more helpless against a well flown anti-fighter LDN with support?

Aha, but now you say, "simply take a battleship!"

Well, with the LDN, it can kite away and chuck HMs at you without you being able to do much about it. That, and BS's that arent LDNs in Liberty are pretty darn rare, the odd incursion by Tirpitz excepted. Aha, but then you say "Two cruisers should be able to deal with it!". Yes, you're right. But there are only what, three or four Scylla's out there in total, and the Storta pilots that park themselves above manhattan don't even know what strafe means, let alone kiting.

Now think of the Osiris, which is smaller and faster than the LDN...?

Let me show you where your mistake is:
First of all, 3.9k Range is for the time that Both ships are thrusting toward each other on full thrust speed! So you wont be able to snac a stationary Target (Like a Battleship) from that distance. But still, Check these out:

SN | Projectile Speed: 280 m/s
BS | Projectile Speed: 800 m/s
LM | Projectile Speed: 600 m/s

SN | Refire Rate: 0.17
BS | Refire Rate: 2.00
LM | Refire Rate: 0.25

SN | Hull Damage: 132,000
BS | Hull Damage: 8,000
LM | Hull Damage: 150,000

SN | Range: 1,960 m - 2.9k on full thrust speed
BS | Range: 3,000 m
LM | Range: 4,020 m

See ?
With this Speed, Even If Bombers could snac a BS from 3.9k distance, it would take the SN projectile 14 Seconds To travel that distance! Which means the BS could even Strafe up or down to dodge it!
Now ... Where is the logic in that? Snac can be fired from 2.9k to a stationary target! OHNOEZ! IT'S A PWNMACHINE! NERF! NERF! NERF! ... well, problem is, if the BS knows how to fly, no one can snac it from even 2.9k range!;)

harcourt, honestly, Bombers are nerfed enough as it is. And i will personally hold you responsible for ANY nerf that happens to the SNAC.

SNAC is the ONLY weapon a bomber have that really counts and makes the class worthwhile.


AND to hit at 4k you must be cruising and EK'ing, meaning, you just used a bug in the game to get energy to shoot from that range.
