We intercepted this transmission from an unidentifed source...I don't know what to make of it....begin playback..
In a dimmly lit room kneels a badly beaten and bloody man. His hands and legs are bound with a rough rope and he is tied around the neck with what looks like wire. His uniform is tattered and torn but still bears the markings of the Liberty Navy. The light swings around to reveal the face of the man. Blood froths at the lips of Admiral Adamson, military commander of the California System. His features hardly recognizable underneath the swelling and bruising. From behind him, several armed and cloaked men step out of the shadows.
"Go ahead Derek." said the masked man in the middle. He lowers his las-pistol to the back of the Admirals head. With a sullen look of defiance the bloody man says nothing.
"You will speak your crimes, dog!!" shrieked the man as he stepped back and made a quick motion to someone off camera. Violently the Admiral spasms as electricity flows through the cable. He lets out a cry of pain as he writhes on the floor. The power shuts off and he is left motionless on the cold slab.
Regaining his knees the man in the torn uniform gives a scathing look at the hooded man. He is about to motion again when the Admirals shoulders slump and he begins to speak. Forcing the words past his cracked lips he turns to the camera.
"My name is Derek Adamson, and I am an officer in the Liberty Navy." He paused to look at the hooded man. "As a young Lieutenant I led an assult on a space station in the Magellan System. We thought it was full of pirates that had been raiding our supply lines but it was not."
"Tell them what the station was full of." hissed the hooded man. "Tell them of your shame."
"The station was full of refugees from the outer systems." the Admiral turned to the masked man again and it looked like he would not say more.
"And the men, women, and children on that station were slautered like animals." continued the masked man. "And the men who were defending the station were cut down like dogs." his voice getting almost hysterical. "My son..." he cut off with rage. "My son was murdered by this man." he cried with pure hatred.
"That's not..." returned the Admiral but the hooded man made a quick motion and he collapsed in pain as power flowed through the wire. As the power was cut the man layed limp on the ground.
"And now Derek Adamson, you will meet your fate." the hooded man spat out. Moving towards the prone man he rasied his blaster but the Admiral, sensing his movement, kicked at his legs and he went down. Springing up the bloody man launched himself at the nearest man and knocked him to the floor. Almost immedetly the other men were on him, kicking and swinging thier own weapons. They dragged the beaten man off the unmoving guard and pinned him to the floor.
"Now you die." said the hooded man as he got to his feet. Leveling his pistol, he fired two sizzling shots into the chest of the Admiral.
Turning to the camera the hooded man said "Liberty, you will pay for the life of my son. There will be no mercy." The screen goes blank...

-completed his "green" status with Navy forces... dunno about Navy Guard though...
-apprehended "Rogue___" with Ensign Brown, he held his own against the ships we chased although lag slowed his pace a bit... (i'd post the screenie but i don't know how)
the pirate escaped on 3 occasions but not without being badly damaged...

Greg and my self went on several patrol runs, and on the second run, Rogue_63 was spotted. We engaged, but were relatively outgunned and only delt minor damage to the cruiser. Niether sides took losses, but ships on both sides took minor damage.
Rogue_63 escaped and dissapeared until the end of the third run, when we found him being chased by mutiple police and bounty hunter ships in a junker ship, by the Tahoe Ice Cloud.
After exchanging light fire, he ecaped into the Cortez system, until he returned later in his cruiser. He attacked the garrison Navy fighter wings of the Battleship Yukon before tractoring in their officers. We used the best we had to stop him, but he once again escaped into the Cortez system, this time with Liberty Pilots. I can only pray for the well being of those MIA pilots and that we may recover them before it is too late...
