Alright first off I used search and found nothing concerning this.
Ok now everyone knows about the Democritus Luxury Yacht yes? Well talking with Felix, about something else and this popped up. Why does this yacht have a GB turret mounted on it but at the same time it can only use half to 75% of them? Of my knowledge all other ships that have turrets or guns have the ability to fire the guns it has optimal. But why was this ship ignored when the turrets got upgraded/changed and the yacht can no longer use the GB turret's BR? It's the only transport with a GB turret aside from the Salvager. I see no advantage to this ship if it cannot fire a GB BR one of it's best options...
Here is what I'm asking for:
Increase the power supply of the yacht so it can fire a basic BR.
or
Remove the GB turret off of the ship and add another transport turret
OR
Remove the ship entirely.
It's a upgrade slightly or lose it all pitch I'm throwing here. I just don't see the point in this ship if there is a GB turret option but not all the GB turrets are available for you to use. If the admins have a reason for this I'd love to know but as of yet I have nothing else to show. This ship is great otherwise but I don't like being teased with a GB turret when I cannot use all of the GB turrets available...

It is nice to show off but if your going to show off you might as well just RP having the thing. If the developers made the ship the last thing they would do is put a GB turret on it and not have enough power to use all GB turrets. This is a flaw that happened when the turrets got upgraded or whatever so fix the power core or remove the turret and add one or two to replace it OR remove it completely. It's inefficient to have the thing and not being able to use it to it's full potential, I'm more in favor of removing the turret but then again removing the entire thing for another transport model might be nice...to me it's more about which is "underpowered but still works ok".

Yeah lose the GB slot is a great idea as I have put an option up there but let's face it like Mjolnir said it's for showing off BUT I want to repeat what I said to him. It has a GB turret, but it cannot use them all. It makes little sense so if your not willing to fix this then remove it. That's all...
Make it a Cruiser Slot, so you can mount a useless Battlerazor for Show-Offs. The Ship looks too nice to delete it too. It might be useless in your Opinion, but there are People using it as Yacht for their Character working for a Corporation using the Ship for their Holidays and such.
It's an awesome Ship to roleplay.

I was actually looking to Rp with this ship not pvp with it as it seems your tone suggests.

You can use normal gb turrets there as well as GB cerb or gb pulse... basically just to show off yes.

Ok now I see the point, why not just change it to a transport turret if that's the case? showing off has little meaning, in my opinion because I don't see ANYONE with it anymore...
I am curious though, in order to give it a unique appeal, would it be suggestable to put the GB turret back to Tranposrt one then up it's speed?
Also I'd like to throw in at this moment that a Civ ID oughta work with the ship, parameters of the ID coupled (excepting allowable ships) with this ship certainly fits. I'd wager that the Civ ID suits the RP of rich civs and diplomats as well.
Meeting civilian yachts provides a different encounter then a faction based one...

I'm still not getting the problem, the current slot allows you to mount either class 7 turret or class 8 turret:unsure:
The problem is it's power supply is limited. No point having class 8 turret if you cannot use it to the max even if at the cost of the entire power plant...something needs to be done, either change the turret to help with the power plant because a cerb turret will drain it rather fast, OR get the power plant upgraded...it's a small fix but this vessel isn't used much anyway. Hopefully it will be used a bit more...
