Kiori, your image link must be broken because it seems you have posted a link to a photo of your mother.

Zeela's star idea : I really like the simplicity of it and the tie in with the Guild's history. Maybe it could be developed into something approaching the impact of Liz_REX's idea, which is great, just not in keeping iwth the spirit of the faction: the text is a little too Rheinlandish, and I'm not sure about the helmet. Like the colours though.

The existing logo is based on a profile of a BHG ship - maybe this could be incorporated into either the logo or the sigbar. http://www.discoveryfl.com/wiki/images/e...ag-bhg.gif

Putting ships into either isnt entirely necessary. Possibly for the sigbars. I just dont think the ships look right on sigs.

Ok My original Brilliant Idea hasn't worked out yet. But based off your comments above, I made this:


Wasn't terribly sure how to convert that to a "Core" Logo as well... but this is what I came up with...



These are fully Vector Format. Meaning that if the BHG would ever want to make t-shirts... it'd work. I'm not sure if I can make it into PSD to be edited in Photoshop but I bet I could if needed.

If you like these I can start working on a Sigbar for you.

So after a couple minutes in MS Paint, here's what I came up with:

Assassination motif combined with expansion motif. Tell me which you prefer and I'll... not do much, given that Paint is the only program I know how to use.

Perhaps one of those could be used for BHG and the other for Core? The reason being, given that the Core is such a secretive group, if a Core pilot needs to go into the Houses he could use a logo which looks similar enough to the regular one to avoid suspicion while still being different enough that those within the BHG can tell who's who.

I'unno, just a thought.

The original Texan star thing could be developed. Not so sure about the wings.
A space backdrop in four colours might work.

As for a motto:
Guild:
"To hunt a criminal, one must think like a criminal."

Core:
"Confine, Contain, Control"
in latin: Coarto , Postulo , Tempero

We want something suggestive of a militaristic secret organisation for the Core.

We'll leave this open until such time as we find something that feels right.

Is mining more fun? Should we pay more?
