To use an old quote "Just the facts"

First thread I was warned in. Dab shows up the next day to warn people not to spam it. And it was a serious discussion topic until dab joined in.

SECOND thread that ws involved.

Now note the timestamp on the two 'warnings'. Fifteen minutes apart. The first warning I would not have even SEEN if it had not been for the second one. How can one even know one has been warned if you are not contacted ?

Also, using the first thread as an example, I think I have shown I am capable of re-posting a thread and getting the re-post to actually stay on topic, if anyone was intentionaly off topic it was dab, jumping on any excuse to give a warning a day late and spoiling a good thread in the process.

Now as for the other warnings..... I have no clue. I have not seen them, as I was never PMd, and Im not in the habit of re-reading threads, so dabs method of warning is quite simply very easy to not notice.

Thats some funny math, Dab, you list threads multiple times.

I have placed the threads ID beside the links as an example.

And for the sake of simplicity and openes I have labed the threads with a letter, begining in the order they were listed.


Thread A- There was flaming from multiple sources there, the thread was infact locked several times, just to get the facts straight.
Now for you SECOND listing of this thread.......... wat ?

I last posted in the thread 10:39PM (-5GMT).
AFTER I post last there is MUCH meaningful content including by devs.
The LAST post prior to yours was at 10:09AM my time, your 'warning' came in just under six hours later.
I replied with the following, then proceeded to turn back to posting on subject.
And for those that dont want to click, here is the part of the reply that dealt with Dab.

Dab quit spamming, the thread was moving along just fine and peacefully without you.
Oh, and its kinda hard to see a 'warning' when its just posted in a thread. PM is much more effective in actualy being seen ya know.

Simply put Joker brought up a good point, and you immeditly claimed it was a flame thread and locked it rather than allowing community members to discuss somthing.
By the way, HOW does a thread become a flame thread when it is locked before anyone but the locking mod can respond ?

Thread D- Wow, once again labeling anything and everything a 'flame thread'. I made a thread making light of a situation, simply put a guy was posturing 'why hire someone to kill you when we can do it ourselves'. Along with that I posted a death message from not long before, with my having killed him. In hindsight I should have blacked out enough of the name to make it identifiable, and then just posted it as a humor thread, however dab it was far from this 'flame' thread theme you seem to be attached to.

Thread E- All two of em....... wait, its the same one once again.

Ok, I DID insult someone and for that I appoligse, but I get irk'd when people ignore facts and make random wild claims to support their goal of tearing someone else roleplay.

Now for that last link...........

Thread D- How was I re-creating a thread ? I simply made a thread about an ingame event, jokers assault on malta, and was asking who considerd it to have happend in RP, due to the drama over it.

same basic subject, but differnt thread.

Also the 'warning' you quoted in that thread had been given out about fifteen minuts prior, and as a post in a thread.

How the hell is one to even know one has been warned if it is simply quietly posted in a thread. You may want to consider using PMs Dab.

Two of the links did get messed up, yes. They are fixed. The third I entered on accident while flipping through them all (considering there are seven I had to file through, making a mistake isn't impossible to understand).

Feel free to recheck those links, they should all be pointing in the proper direction now.

Also, yes, I've posted my warnings a few hours after you last posts... Unfortunately, even us mods are not omnipresent and filing through the forums at all hours of the day. We cannot respond immediately to every case. Nor do we wish to. Sometimes things are discussed before making actions on.

Is untrue. The lock came from the fact that you, Harcourt, posted an inflammatory post that was finger-pointing immediately after, and in response, to my statement as a mod saying that I was allowing that thread to go on unlocked, so long as those things did NOT happen. Since they happened from the thread creator immediately thereafter, it was locked. The thread could've been locked from the very start.


Lastly; How are you supposed to know? When you see a thread you created or posted in locked by an admin or mod, you're expected to find out the reason for that lock. You obviously knew they were locked as you created new threads to continue the discussions taking place in those threads. Even if that were not true, just as with the server rules, ignorance is no excuse when it comes to forum rules.
