To Bravo Boys: Even if you 'Find' a Hathor floating in NewYork Space, which isnt a Good RP but good enough excuse for flying a hathor around pennsy, Be Sure Order wont let you keep it, they can just send 2 Sekhmets to take care of your little ship! (And also, if you die, clicking on 'Respawn' would be ooRP too, you just have to Delete it if it turns to scrap even once)
And it's white because in Some Special cases, someone might come up with a brilliant idea and get a Hathor, but being white doesnt mean anyone can post something like "hai me wantz hator, k ? k." and go and buy one ...
And on-topic:
I dont have any combat ship larger than a Bomber, but I've tried some GS/GBs and I prefer Gunships, they have lower hull and power but move much faster, and thats what I want from a ship I fly, turning like a big brick is not my favorite type of handling!
What's funny to me is when we posted the bio, no one said a word and there was not one reply to it. Now everyone's coming out of the woodwork with their comments. We didn't even buy the hathor until a week after the bio was posted to be sure there wouldn't be a problem. And we're not all boys, I am female, so don't assume that please.:P
Now the point is moot, we have new ships, so no further 'comments' are necessary. Thanks for nuttin.

Part of the problem is that when you posted your story - well, under the rules AT THAT TIME, that's basically all that was needed.
Unfortunately (and this isn't just for you, this is for a lot of people) - due to PvP abuse in some cases, general silliness in others, and the minor detail that things weren't clear to begin with - we've had to re-write the rules.
Please do not hold some of the comments here against the forum in general. We have such a varied base of players, ranging from 12 year olds all the way up to grandfathers on here, that - well - at times it's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Please don't take us wrong, truly we are all really honored to be a part of Discovery. The continual RP evolution of universal events combined with gameplay is nothing like we have ever seen, and since we were introduced to this game and community roughly 4 months ago we have spent almost every waking hour on the server, or combing the site here to learn the rules and read everything. I think Bravo 3 was just a little sad because our attempt to create any sort of RP ingame with the hathor (since it is still white to mercs with bio/story until the end of January) was met with a barrage of negativity or "yeah whatever"s.
We've happily switched to bounty hunters, the only difference being we can't escort unlawfuls while we can now demand contraband. But we only drove through a few systems with one hathor as mercs and feathers got ruffled. I understand also there's a big hunt on for pirates abusing the rules with gunboats, hence the new request rule. But while us bravos try to pretend to stay on top of the weather, we got stuck smack in the middle of this gunboat storm as mercs trying to have a gunboat for a flagship. I wouldn't even want to try to defend myself as a pirate gunboat right now. I think those wishing to be a merc in a gunboat playing all crowds for the most cash and glory may be better advised to choose carefully or choose another character for the time being.
This seemed like a good existing thread to post this in, so here I go with my questions:
Numero uno: Is the Kusari Explorer any good as a Civilian gunboat?
Numero dos: Is the Kusari explorer considered Civilian or Kusari? So, could my merc use it, for example?
Numero tres (the iffy one): My merc doesn't really like Kusari all that much, being a Bretonian. Would he be able to use the Explorer against Kusarian forces (which is quite a possibility), or would that be considered a big NO!
It's not THAT much of a problem, as I can just make the gunboat another character, but I've grown quite attached to my merc, and I'd like to play it as him.
I suppose number three depends heavily on the answer to number two, but still.
