I do apologize for loosing my temper. But I do want to bring to light one matter regarding players who speak limited english. Part of the reason I was as frustrated as I was, was because I was trying to help crysty get in compliance with the server rules, but the local Corsair players would not allow me to explaing to them that the kid was Romanian, and just didn't understand what was going on even in private chat the benetez player i was talking too would not drop the rp long enough to actually help a player get a fair shake, and have fun with the rest of us on the server. Crysty had spent a lot of time buying a transport that he did not know was out of compliance with his tag, and was just short of having enough to buy a Geb. Given his time investment and limited english proficiency, all he knew was for some reason other players were threatening him with rules he didnt even know about, while he was just short of getting a pay off in the game. In that situation most of us might be a little weary of what other players were telling us to do, especially if we didnt understand the whole conversation. But instead of dropping the rp, and talking to the kid on a private channel to understand what was going on, the benitez just banned him from their system, and blocked his only trade route. When i finally helped him undestand why he was being attacked i loaned him some money to get him a ship that was in compliance, then found another romanian player to explain the rules to him. Why cant "elders" do this? Just a little consideration would eliminate this problem.
This in no way justifies my use of aggressive language, but I think it would be nice to have some structured rules set up for limited english players(most of which want to be in compliance). Also some reciprocal maturity- and a little bit of understanding from the other players whom are co-enforcers of server rules, on matters like these would go along way towards making a already great server even better.
Why can't the Benitez do it? The Benitez are a faction. They aren't the UN. It may be that they don't have the linguistic services of a government organisation.
There are structured rules set up for limited english players - those would be the rules that everyone else is bound to follow. If somone's english isn't of a standard good enough to play and communicate in game, then there's not much can be done, apart from have some player teach them the rules in their native language, and then teach them english, and then teach them how to role-play.

I appreciate what your saying, and I'm not trying to be combative, its just there was absolutely no attempt made. The kid spoke good enough english that all it took was me (a native english speaker) a little time on pm to get him straight enough to play, while the other players didn't even try. Yes I had a romanian kid explain the more nuanced points of the rp structure of the server, but i was able to talk him into getting his tag and ship straight with just a touch of patience. I just don't want to deny other players a chance to play because their slow, but capable of getting the rules.
