We've invaded Gamma, again, but this time we brought 3 Cruisers, 2 Gunboats and some bomber support. As we knew the Cannibals sent some Legates on us and we managed to take out 5 of the capital ships and damaged badly the sixth! We sniped their fat battleships with Light Mortars, also bombers did their job, while Gunboats kept the fighters off from the Cruisers. It was great to see how the whole group works, but we also made mistakes. Aurora flew too close to one of the Battleships and He got damaged badly. Later a battleship went to close to Kornstadt and he couldn't escape. Although the remaining group could hold off the fighters, they couldn't damage the battleships as Cruisers did. I ordered retreat.

Brief Combat Report:
Red Hessians entered Omicron Gamma via the Omega 41 jumphole and began bombarding tripoli with 3 Vidar Class Cruisers, making considerable dents into the station whilst a Corsair Elder continually blabbed his mouth off behind his comm array. He said something about being drunk on whiskey, but that is beside the point. The corsairs humbly watched might of the Hessian army bombard their precious Tripoli station, as they tried to scrape up the numbers to fight the mighty RHA. The battle came to a head when a somewhat inebriated, and lolwut virus individual Saladin was the first Corsair to engage us. He met his swift end at the tip of my missles. Afterwards I was taken out by a Corsair known as Vilkas. We lost one cruiser at this point in time as well, the Elbe. My pod was tractored in as we made our retreat to the Omega-41, the Corsairs finally came pouring in from every part of the system. We struck their hearts at Tripoli. This victory was an excellent Morale boost for the Army.

Greetings my friends. I have a short report to submit. I was aboard the Wurdiz, when I received reports of a Corsair vessel in Frankfurt. We immediately headed in that direction, but by the time we had arrived, the vessel had vanished. Hours of fruitless searching turned up no clues, until I ran into a junker who suggested he may have seen an Imperator class gunboat in Sigma-13.
We jumped through and started to search the gas clouds. A gut feeling made me concentrate on the clouds surrounding the jump hole to Sigma-19, and before long my suspicions proved correct. The Imperator was no match for the Wurdiz, and using the cover of the gas pockets I was able to ensure that it barely even scratched my shields.
.
Klaus Stausberg was in New Berlin at the time, and I joined up with him afterwards. Admiral Malte was reported to be in the system, and the opportunity to strike a blow to the heart of the Kanzlers minions was too good to pass up. I ran across Malte at the jump gate to Dresden, and called in Herr Stausberg immediately.
Malte thought to tell us to surrender! We, of course, declined her offer, demanding the release of the brave Hessian pilots she had already captured. When another RM pilot in a Bergalmir showed up, they engaged us. As the fight raged, many Kruger, Daumann and Republican vessels also lent their assistance to the two RM. With my shields disabled, the Wurdiz started taking heavy damage, and targetting became impossible as heavy fire hammered into the hull. I knew I had to withdraw from the fight. Herr Strausberg provided sufficient distraction to Admiral Malte and the pilot of the Bergalmir, and I was able to overcome the security protocols of the jump gate with ease, allowing my escape into Dresden. Herr Stausberg's vessel was destroyed, but thankfully his escape pod evaded detection, and he was returned safely to Vogtland several hours later.

Zhe Rheinland Military und zhe Police are now being labeled as the

bit of literature, zhe book "1984." Since zhe distribution of zhis propaganda,
ich have personally seen three civilians docking at Vogtland und coming out vith
Hessian ships. Ich am glad to serve zhe Hessian Army und its glorious cause

I've been on patrol in the Dresden system. We were chasing an RNC gunboat who unfortunatelly could land on the Altenburg, when a corsair gunboat apperad on the radar 7k away from our location on our way back to Vogtland. (Tricky rick) We went closer to him and ordered him out of Rheinland but he came on us weapons blazing. His ship was destroyed in 2 minutes. Once again we headed back to Vogtland but still in space we recieved a distress call from a Hessian gunboat the "Hiidensurma" who was in combat with a corsair gunboat. Sadly the our gunboat was destroyed prior to the wings arrival, but the corsair followed it into spacegrave. We've grabbed the survivors from our gunboat and returned to Vogtland. After arriving i've made a report to Major Ferdinand Gryneus who quickly assembled a hessian commando from the Hessian patrols. Our mission was to destroy anyone in Omicron Gamma within 15ks of the Omega-41 Jumphole as a response to their agression. The raid was flawlessly succesful we shot down some cannibals and returned without losses. The Red Barons offered to help us in Gamma but we couldn't stay any longer since some corsair battleships were on their way after the fighters and bombers god what they deserved. Hopefully they'll learn from the lesson and won't send anymore gunboats to the Vaterland.

Retribution and revenge is needed. Today's battle in Omega 5 demands that we strike back at the Corsairs. Their numbers seem to never end, but we can stop their rampage through the Omegas.
I leave it to you my Rheinland comrades to plan an attack on the Corsairs. The Coalition will always be there in support of your call.

I took the Wurdiz out on a short patrol of the Omegas yesterday, while our brave brothers were involved in a glorious raid on the home of the Corsairs. Dresden itself was sleeping, so I headed in Omega-11, hoping to give those idiots on Solarius something to think about.
As I appraoched the station a Daumann miner launched from the bays! He flung the usual insults my way while sending a distress call. This was soon answered by a BHG gunboat. I drew the gunboat out of the shadow of Solarius, and he was soon joined by one of Daumann's hired lackeys in a Roc.
.
I soon tired of their rather limited vocabularies, and moved the Wurdiz into an attack vector, neutralising the shields of the Roc. Hah! The squeal of terror that echoed across Omega-11 was priceless! Some small payment for their depredations.
I concentrated my fire on the bomber, but the many asteroids were disrupting the targeting ability of my gunners. As the hunter GB and the bomber began to take chunks out of my hull, I knew I would have to start thinking about a retreat to Freital, but then Niklas Koehler and Alfred Wagner appeared from the asteroid fields and joined in the fight. With the bomber distracted I was able to manoeuver the Wurdiz into a deadly vector, and the Roc fell to my razor volley.
The pilot of the Orca was no match for our combined might, and its hull soon buckled.
With Omega-11 cleared, I decided to proceed to Omega-7, and from there Omega-3. As I got close to Aaland shipyard, I got a contact on my scanners. A stinking corsair in a Praetorian, running back towards Omega-7. It seems Niklas had spooked him from his depredations. I was able to catch up to him as he approached the gate to Omega-7, and easily provoked the fool into a fight. The corsair was skilled at dodging, but he was unable to threaten the Wurdiz. Several razor hits soon took their toll on his hull, before I allowed my new gunner, Jarek Bose, to take the killing shot on the Cerberus turrets. You should have seen the pride on his face at his first kill!
.
From there I directed the Wurdiz back to Freital for repairs. The earlier battle with the hunter and Daumann pilots had severely weakened the hull, but the engineers say she will be flying again within the week.

This is a follow up from the last recon mission into Omicron Gamma, which concluded with little to no resistance from Corsair defenders. Who knows what they were waiting for...
Regardless, the previous "raid" let me lay down enough spy probes in the system to be able to truly identify the scale of the defence forces in the Corsair home system. This is in preparation for future disruption activities within that system, with the goal of drawing away the larger Corsair forces from other important choke points around their overstretched territory.
Knowing that during the last two days the probes would have likely gathered enough data to fill their hard drives, myself and Leutnant Becker prepared for a stealth mission into the heart of the Corsair empire. Herr Halse and two of his Red Barons accompanied us for cover, which was a prudent move as the very moment we have entered Omicron Gamma and disabled the weapons platforms, the Corsairs sounded a system wide alarm and proceeded to send out fighter wings, including one belonging to the infamous Benitez family. The Benitez wing intercepted us around planet Cella Dor, and began their engagement.
Needless to say they were outmatched, and the gunboat and cruiser they brought with them were systematically taken down as well without a single loss from our side. All this while I was able to pick up and download data from the spy probes placed around Skiros and the Omega-41 jump hole. Afterwards we proceeded to circle the system, passing close by next to the Corsair hellhole of Crete as we picked the rest of the spy probes up. The data gathered by the probes will need to be processed first, which might take a while... but we should be able to make heads and tails of it within a matter of days.
