The smuggling role helped, but I didn't notice how well the name fit until now... It was definitely the solar panels that did it.
You know, there was a group attempting to make a Firefly mod a while back...
Morena Baccarin is a fine actress .... and woman:)She played in most shows that I liked: Firefly, Stargate, "V" .... I like this ship so decided I'd name it after an actress I like:P

Doubt that m8. Heard of mods with models around 200k polys and fights with like a dozen such ships in one place without the game crashing so it's possible. But you might need to break the model into several parts.
Slower computers start to have trouble rendering models around 8k polys per object.
The limit (10k?) is only the exporter. Freelancer doesn't really have any limits on polycounts, IIRC.

Please go >> here << and share your opinion if this massive project should be done. Why I'm saying massive ..... cause there's many ships in vanilla, all will be edited and possibly not all fans will like the finished product.
