So... we were always prohibited from pirating in house space, it just wasn't specified? Oh, that is lovely. We got our balls chopped of without even knowing it then. It still doesn't fix the fact that a part of the Junker RP and lore was removed because of the OORPers, issues which could be dealt with in other ways.
Also, what do you mean by "it wasn't just the OORP twats"? Have the regular Junker players done anything to lead to such a change?
PS: It's amazing the sort of insults you can think up at 2am. Twats... Funny word.
Silly question, but if you're going to be robbing people and doing generally illegal things, how are you going to keep the police from learning about it and thus arresting you whenever you land somewhere lawful?
The Id was changed from "Can pirate corporate ID'd players outside of House Space" to " Cannot pirate corporate players inside of House space" Same meaning different way of saying it. It just seemed that everyone thought the first one meant they could do it everywhere else as well, which was never meant to be the case.

For everyone. This means all the other systems not listed are not House Space as far as the Admin team are concerned, this list is pinned in the rules section and also added as an addendum to the main rules themselves.
I got a Question about that. The [LN] claims more Systems as House Space. What about those?
Quote:‘The house of Liberty’ means the systems of New York, California, Colorado, Texas, Virginia, Yukon, Ontario, Alberta, Kansas, Minnesota, Illinois, Quebec, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and any immediately connecting independent systems, such as but not limited to Magellan and Hudson. Note, this is not a territorial claim to the referenced independent systems, which are widely recognised as neutral space.

What about 'em? What a house claims, and what the rules state for RP purposes, are two different things. Remember, the wiki is not official. THIS is the official definition of house space.
Quote: The following systems are considered House Space for any rule which references such
System list...
Though this list does not contain systems referred to on the map as House Space, this is a rules distinction not an RP one.

Thing with these systems is that they are pretty much empty.
Yes, lawfuls patrol there.
Yes, traders are passing there.
But they are still pretty empty enough that a Junker can go there and decide to pirate and he will probably never be seen pirating. Which is how the Junker pirating roleplay is supposed to be.

I agree fully with the hoodlum. I am a Junker, and in a faction(unoficial) And i witnessed a member of my faction(who is no longer a member) and a Congress member both hit traders/miners in Munich for gold ore. These are not the "OORP Twats" running around ruining it for all. These are the player's that should be setting examples. They did something wrong, and as such, others saw this and joined in. Was it a mistake on thier part? maybe. Was it wrong? OH HELL YES.
I find the wording of the new ID("or new rule") to make more sense. The only time i think it would have ever made sense for a junker to rob someone in house space is if it was in a scrap field,or near a junker base. Not outside a lawful base/a tradelane/jumpgate.:nono:
