Afternoon agent
While Mr Willows is an extremely effective field operative, and is an astonishing pilot, we are looking into certain aspects of his behaviour. With regards to the drugs issue, it's perfectly possible he has picked up cardamine on several occasions from smugglers and the suchlike, which would explain the trace elements of the drug we frequently find in his cargo hold.
The situation is being looked into, and the Navy is taking the allegations extremely seriously. if he is found to be acting under the influence of drugs while on duty or off duty, then action will be taken by the high command
I think we can keep this an internal affair for now. If you cold forward what evidence you have to my office it would be most appreciated. However I will warn against refferencing his mother in this investigation.

"Howdy Admiral, always nice to speak with you.
"I'll be sending the report on Ensign Willows later this afternoon. It's a damn shame, I offered to forget about it in exchange for an apology, nice guy that I am. Kids these days just don't know when to suck it up.
"I trust this will all be dealt with privately in due time. I don't need to know anything else except for your assurance.
"Once again, I'd like to send you my regards on behalf of the LSF. Let's continue to enjoy the mutual cooperation between our organizations.
"McClintock, out."

Regarding today's patrol;
First things first, the patrol path today was very long. It started off fairly slowly though, with little initial activity in both New York and Texas. Rerouting through to California, we found two slavers, one after the other.
The first dropped his contraband cargo after a fairly long chat, though the LSF managed to balls up the rescue of the hostages somehow ... the less said about that frankly, the better.
The second however, tried to barter, offering what he described as a 50-50 split. This was obviously unacceptable, and his pilotting landed him, or rather, evaporated him, in the atmosphere of California Minor. He took his cargo with him, unfortunately.
Of course, it goes without saying that the {SU}Midnight.Express is now a wanted slaver.
On the way back from California to New York, to assist some USI ships which had sent out a distress call, I encountered a barghest pilot, Rommie, attempting to commit an act of piracy against an Ageira ship. This was, obviously unacceptable. After the engagement began, which was a given, two additional Liberty gunboats dropped out of the trade lane. Once the Ageira vessel had reached safety, I told them to back off, but of course, they didn't listen. No one ever does. Eventually, Rommie was holed somewhere in the nearby asteroid field.
I recieved a donation to the Liberty Navy from the Ageira vessel, Ageira|Alhambra, totalling ten million credits. This captain is the first to be listed in the donations part of the Law of Liberty document.
The above events had delayed me from the USI distress call significantly, but luckily ensign Walker had signed on and taken over the responsibility from that, rescuing the USI ships from danger. I arrived later on the scene and helped to dispatch two of the three enemy gunships. The last one was the subject of a wager between myself and George, which I of course won.
Oh, and before all of this, Logan Willows got his ass handed to him on a silver platter by a Hellfire Legionnaire in Magellan. Hah. Serves him right.
Anyway, we then decided to do a border patrol in Kepler, which led to four ships, myself, Lieutenant Jack Will, Ensign George Walker and a gunboat named Gunnberg, escorting a Samura affiliated Ryuujin heavy transport, India, in and out of Liberty. We recieved a small tip for the service, and saved the pilot from suffering two instances of projected piracy. Both of those groups of pirates were displaced without conflict. Good job to those involved.
Message: Greetings, I have a report that I must bring to your attention.
I was doing my last patrol of the New York System and had just finished eliminating a Corsair Gunship when I received a transmission informing me of suspicious activity in the California System, more specifically around the Ontario Gate/Jump Hole. I decided to investigate the matter with two wingman as I suspected this could be a trap, we've had a lot of that in the California System lately. The first thing I noticed when arriving in California was a strange signal being broadcast repeated.
We ignored it at first there was very little we could do at the time and proceeded to the location mentioned in the report. There was nothing in sensor range at the Ontario gate so we decided to investigate the Asteroid Field to see if we could find anything there. We sweeped the damned thing for about an ten minutes before we found the Jump Hole, and the source of the strange signal. What we found was a heavily armed Kusari Gunship in the middle of Liberty Space, and it seemed to be broadcasting something strange.
As we approached it the vessel opened fire and all hails to the vessel were met with utter silence. I knew that this was big so I switched on my guncam ans scanners and began a full scan of the darn thing. We detected eight life signs and it did infact have Kusari Naval Identification. But why the frak would they be in Liberty? Attached below is the data I collected.
I'm only an ensign so I did my best to be of use to the Navy, I never thought the Navy was for me but these last couple days have shown me a lot and I'm hoping I'll help make a difference.

Greetings Admirals Today we whent to Planet Manhaten to give some members of my crew some R and R when we Departed from the Texas System (we were currently monitoring for Rheinland activity) There was no sigh from pirates in Liberty but when we arived at the New York System Planet Manhaten the Char Named Davy.Jones and some of his friends was tretening and Peacefull Arms Diller i Emidietly Calld For Fighter Suport 3 Fighters Guardian Class Arived. The Battle Took Place near Newark Sation. We startet Fireing and in our furst solvo from our Guns some of the enemy fighters we damaged. After some time a Freelancer came to help Evetualy Some of the Pirates were Detroyed others run. And who can blame tham thay were outgunt and out classd. Here is Some data that my science oficer manege to record.
Made several circuits around Liberty as the pirates never cease to stop causing trouble. Some notable engagements occured, such as the one in California concerning Fleet Admiral Hale, Agent Frost, Officer Daniels and the Wenatchee. The pirates were Soul Burner and Make Me Proud, outcast gunship and rogue gunboat respectively. I stayed out due to enough forces on the threat until Swat officer Bauer was shot down.
Images included below:
Later, I went out on patrol again, with Ensign Bueller and found 2 outcasts by the name of Diego Guillermo and Celadon Gryphon firing on Agent Frost. The Groom Lake was nearby, however left for Lieutenant Will to help in a fighter. Agent O'hara also assisted in the fight in its duration. We were able to take out Celadon, after they shot down Agent Frost, however soon after, my vessel was taken out of action.
Finally, yesterday, I went on patrol with Officer Larsen and found some 'tax collectors' and 'donaters' near Manhattan space. After a useless conversation for them to simply leave, they did not comply and so force was used. The Raleigh was deployed, along with Recruit Bane and Officer Larsen, a gunboat, fighter and bomber against Cartel Dull Axe (fighter), Criso Colo (fighter), and Monty (Outcast gunship), Project X in a fighter, Gianna Gravina and [CoC]-Beleren, both in fighters. During the fight, the gunship was taken down along with damage against the fighters, however the concentrated fire overwhelmed the shields and I ordered the crew to abandon ship. The wreckage is currently being asessed, and repairs are underway. During the final moments, I ordered Bane and Larsen to retreat. Afterwards, I recieved reports of the Cartels' demise by Officer Larsen and his bomber.
Fine work to Officer Larsen, Recruit Bane and the other officers I served with over these few days. Hope to continue to see everyone out in the field.
I just got back from a sortie. I was contacted by the Pegasus that there was trouble. I didn't know where though. So I launched from Norfolk to find myself in the middle of a battle. Norfolk was being atttacked by a Rogue destroyer and 2 rogue gunboats.
The destroyer, Maelstrom, was taken out by tthe combined firepower of our makeshift battlegroup.
then remained the 2 gunboats, heart of Gold and Be Good At It. I ordered the cruisers to stand down together with Arthur Mark. Arthur was so busy yelling at a cruiser he forgot to dodge the incoming razors from 1 of the gunboats. His ship went pop, but he lived.
Me and the Assault 1, a Liberty gunboat, attacked the remaining gunboats. Heart of Gold got a beating and made a run for it heavily damaged.
Be Good At It was evetually detroyed by my bomber and the Navy Gunboat who did a good job at taking fire in my stead.
I launched my Avenger yesterday at 1830 hours, needing some time off of the bridge, and proceeded to Manhattan, where I met up with Admiral Hale in the Cape.Horn, and a visiting Diplomat from Bretonia, a Countess Lafiel Tarrant. We decided to give her a tour of Liberty, and proceeded to the Colorado system.
A while later, after returning from the Texas system, a gunboat by the name of "ave" attacked me and the Countess, and I told the Serenity to run while I engaged the Tridente. Not long later, the gunboat was in flames, with some help from Admiral Hale in the Cape.Horn.
