Got a problem. And I must ask. If I create a Xeno terrorist character. And I start engaging lawfuls, (I am a terrorist) with no warning, what then? All of them will start to flame me, and point on the forums how infamous I am. In any case, RP means engaging each other, in RP terms of course, but ppl on this server just won't listen and will flame if they are attacked.
Well Hylden, if you are actually prepared to roleplay a Xeno as he would be according to the info cards, then
I personally see no problems. The Xenos of course, are very small, have very limited resources and don't
swan all over Sirius looking for the excuse to use their terrorist status.
So that would be Liberty based, gaurd ship, and Xeno weapons then ? Not a license to do what you want ?
Does that make sense ... One or two here actually do it quite well.

Thanks for moving it, seemed an odd place to to put the original anyway.

I have a different problem. Lack of pirate/terrorist encounters. I think my IND trader hasn't been attacked at all this year. Well there are pirate factions, but they don't pirate any more... Has anyone seen for example GoR ships pirating poor traders?:)Not me, at least not recently. Well I know, they care about their Cardamine and support smugglers so maybe that's a bad example. What about terrorists? Phantoms are seen very rarely and the only terrorist I met recently was [I]-Gamma and I am always looking forward to his open comm message "maintaining radio silence..." which comes always 2-3 minutes before his attack. Never met prospector in game, but I'm still hoping I will one day. Pirates and terrorists, don't be afraid to do your job!
What is the game about? Superb ships and systems and equipment? Yes partly, but it's also about interacting with other players. Trading in dangerous areas brings a trader more profit, but higher risk is also involved and that's natural. So what to complain about?
Hylden, [I]-Gamma (don't know his forum name), Prospector and the other terrorists, thumbs up! Keep up the good work.
And remember, if they don't like you then it's the best evidence that you are doing your job well!
first get xeno guard tag...in that way u will be red to almost everybody...they wont complain much if u attack..they have been warned to be careful from 14k away if they see u red on their huds..also use only civilian, zoner or IMG fighters, only zoner or xeno weapons...
i have xeno chars and with them i usually attack with out special warning...i do however RP in system channel so people know that i am on prowl..after some time, especially if u are good, people will know your name and they will be warned by your very presence in system...become notorious..
also...i tend not to attack newbies to the server and players with rank below 45...ALL taged chars are free hunt...they have entire faction behind them selves so they can equip better and faster then lone player..
rarely leave liberty system...xenos are liberty terrorists...attack junkers, kusari and rheinland traders...they are your main targets..xenos oppose foreign traders...
despite what general opinion is...u do not get license to kill everybody and everything when u get Xeno ID...
do not power play..xenos are poorest of all NPC factions and their ID limits your ship choice very much...
and for last..prepare to always fight against the odds...almost every time you will be outnumbered...
my xeno char is Prospector...if u see him in game give me a call and we can talk about it some more...
As long as you RP it well, they don't mind. My Xeno (Frank Lewis) is a former Ageira Worker who hates Kishiro for importing. He'll attack Kishiro first, even if it means letting someone else get away.
And Majkp, try coming through Colorado some time if you want to be pirated... Us Xenos can't leave Liberty you know.
Majk, Speaking for the Phantoms here, we don't just go after traders, that would make us the same as every
other terrorist group here. I hope our roleplay is a little above the average 'kill because you can' attitude ...
And do we have to be on all the time ? Look at the complaints in the past when we are ...
The GoR act as home based Outcasts, we ain't in the habit of swanning round Sirius looking to pirate traders,
just those crossing our paths aound the ZoI, and the odd forays to protect our interests.
These examples I see as a little more roleplay orientated, than the usual.
And dammit, some 'Bloody Corsair' tried to pirate me [IND] the other day, got his comeuppance in the end as
I remember. Cost me six cargo pods, better than two mil though.
Lets keep it in perspective here. Plenty of other faction tags available with much greater scope.
Doom is the only one who has shown how to RP the Xeno within the bounds of the info card so far. I wish more
would try to stay within the remits of their faction alignments.
Possibly not just try to use the 'terrorist' tag as an excuse.
Apologies Hylden if this is not your intent, but the current crop of people looking to just exploit the situation has
made me a little cynical recently.

*clears throat*
Don't say "the only one". Say "The only one I know of". You haven't seen all the Xenos. I know I haven't met you in-game.
Denelo, I do apologize for my generalisation there, you are dead right of course.
Doom is the only one I'M aware of, as I have encountered him in game, and his roleplay thread is read by me
regularly. No offense mate ...
