Ahem..
Quoting myself.
----OoRp.. The reasons the why i was at Kusari and called for backup when i was at Kyushu was the ones in my post. Almost 50% of our ore convoys encounter pirates on their voyages. We just simply go ahead, tell the convoys to hold and engage and destroy said pirates. After seeing the firepower that went to Kyushu and then to New Tokyo, i thought that they were just another pirating group and called for the backup.
Now.. this whole mess, because it is a mess, was created by several. I don't know the oorp dealings or even the inrp sometimes. I'll stick to what Panzer decide because.. It is my job and duty. InRP and oorp. To follow the leader, no matter what it brings. Because if you go against your leader, inrp and oorp, well, that's asking for creating reasonable doubt about you and i don't want that in my rl life or ingame.
And i concede to the valid point that both faction leaders should have discussed the whole incident.---

Love,
Kaze.

Exactly. You disregarded what the KNF on scene said, which is why I pointed to the article on sovereignty, because what you did was a clear violation of Kusari sovereignty. That is why this happened, it had nothing to do with Ame as I said before.

To be honest, I don't know why this is such a huge problem. I mean now that the CR are at least somewhat deemed hostile to Kusari, just look at all the RP potential there!

And it went only one single day since this occurred and would you look at the huge activity boost in Kusari? It's ridiculously good now.

I have no problem with however the CR decide to handle this in rp, what I do have a problem with is oorp misrepresentations of what happened and what is happening. Lie all you want in rp, but please as players, lets be honest with each other.

Ok.. Now i'm truly lost..

Quoting you--And Ame told you she didnt need help right? So why the call for a whole wing of ships?--

Quoting me x2
--Ahem..
Quoting myself.
----OoRp.. The reasons the why i was at Kusari and called for backup when i was at Kyushu--

And another quote.. This one will be necessary i see...

--I can foward you a link to my report if you need it. So you don't need to ask for any more.. things.--

Now.. let me see your chain of composed arguments to my answers.

First: As i stated, i called for backup to deal with potential pirates. If there wasn't any, we would get the convoy rolling.

Second: Sovereignty of Kusari. Does Kusari guarantee that their ally convoys can go through it's sovereignty space unharmed and unpirated? I don't think any of the Four Houses can do that.
That's why we have beautiful rp's (plural here) going of people who get's hired as escorts or the convoy faction per se get's the escorts.
And as i stated before and you didn't contradicted that point --How many times 6 CR were on Honshu or New Tokyo blowing up 3 or 4 tridentes ready to pirate our convoys and yet.. Yup. No problems there.--

And finally third...
Again.

*A sultry blink*,

And p.s: I don't need to lie and i don't lie on this business. Too many ears and too many eyes. Anyone trying to lie their way out is caught.
And you know it.

Basically problem Zelot has is that he allowed you to escort your trade ships with force, not to "make sure there aren't any"

Basically trader should be one gate lane away of the place where you are clearing the "threat". Or with the fighters.

If it's not, then you have an issue of breaking Kusari law as we all said already over and over so there's no point to quote it.

There's that saying "I give you a finger and you take the whole hand", but that would be going too far.
I am also interested to see how will this all be played out in roleplay, and honestly I'm happy with Swift's answers, but I see so many readers of this topic that could pick up on few tips on how to handle Kusari.

Because trust me, even if you remove Zelot out of equation, things would remain pretty much the same with the next emperor. Kusari just grows on you. The habits, the honor, the fact that dragon and knf can stand together and destroy a third problem. They're all so beautifully wise, and yet so ... stubborn when it comes to some things.
Diplomacy in it's purest form

And when you found out the KNF didnt need help, did you call off the wing of ships inbound for New Tokyo?

I dont know how many tridents you have killed in Kusari and it really doesnt matter to me, escorts belong, you know, in the vicinity of the ships they are escorting. So what you are saying is you send a big fleet of ships to patrol the trade routes you will run later? Thats called patrolling, not escorting and there is a big difference between the two.

Edit: I think you may be missing my point, which is the action you were engaged in would be described as a policing action, which is illegal by Kusari law, you were engaged in that before Ame shot at you, this is why I say the issue is not about Ame, because you actions before that took place were in violation of Kusari law.

Aye, true. Pity that we can loose the trader with some well placed snacs as revenge as it occurred a couple of times.

And <lulz> OMG Ivan </lulz> (sorry but your name change from OPG to OMG is epic.) you're right. Why try? As i said, i'm a low lieutenant on the totem pole.
Let the big guys decide it.

Love you all,
Kaze.

//Edit: Zelot, i'm truly feeling like i'm speaking to a wall here. Check my post. All explaining you need is there. I met the GC and Kempeitai unit and rp'ed a little. In not even two or one minute my wing appeared. So no. No we didn't had the need to get a brawl or what if. If you say we needed to have the convoys near us, i can refer you to first part of this post for a little explanation. If you want to discuss this to the point of exhaustion my Skype is kaze.dagon and you can add who you want to the discussion.

Now, I wasn't there so I may not have all of the information...

But you forget that, with all of your obsession over "sovereignty," what we did was perfectly acceptable up until Ame-chan fired upon our ships. EVERYTHING we did was reasonable. We aren't restricted from flying ONE flight of our ships proactively through a nation which cannot defend our convoys adequately, to clear out the buggers. It is, in fact, a good thing for both parties, as we went to clear out pirates, and everyone should be happy about that. That is, every intelligent person should.

Last I checked, an invasion force involves Capital Ships. You, Zelot, should know this by now, as you allegedly RP the Emperor (if I read that correctly) of Kusari, a house currently involved in an offensive war. As such, a few fighters and bombers hunting for outcasts isn't exactly an invasion. It's the equivalent of, to use your sovereignty argument, sending a few armed guards ahead to make sure that the waterways are clear for our tankers. We didn't send tanks and warfleets into your cities -which would be an invasion- nor did we send them into your military bases. We sent a few fighters and a couple of bombers to make sure that the waterways were cleared before we sent our transports through.

If anything, what we did made perfect sense.

The entire issue exists because the character Ame-chan is not fit to command a destroyer, being someone who shoots people for candy, shoots them after she gets candy, and calls others cabbages. This would be alright if she was forced to pilot something more suited to her: A starflea. But she captains a Destroyer, despite the fact that she is not responsible enough to do so.

I admire your arguments. Truly. However, it IS about Ame-chan, because Ame-chan made it about her. She was the one who reported it to the Emperor, if I read the screenshots correctly, running away after SHE shot first. You can't argue sovereignty because Ame-chan didn't care about sovereignty, she was just being immature. She shot first, with no provocation, and when we defended ourselves against HER aggression, she ran to the Emperor like a girl who just got a spanked for being bad. Which she was.

Once more, I admire your attempts at shifting the blame to us. However, that was no invasion fleet, no assault force, sent in to violate Kusari sovereignty. That was what you would call adequate preparation, a squad of soldiers sent in to kill off the guerrilla forces that the local soldiers couldn't kill off.

"Things will not calm down, Daniel Jackson. They will, in fact, calm up."
