From: Commander, Logistics support squadron "Kagi, " Nago station, Tau-29
Because of increased raids along our southern supply line, the Imperial war secretary has began looking outside our borders for additional shippers. One such ship has already contracted out an arrangment for discounted dueterium in exchange for Imperial protection. As this enterprising individual has come forward with a sensible arrangement the KNF will offer it up to the rest of the server. Carry Deuterium to New Tokyo while any KNF/KNT is on and we will buy it from you for 1900 per ton. In exchange for the discounted fuel, KNF will provide escort when they are available.
Refer to this post for a list of approved shipping vessels:
Yacht-Adamantine, owner anonymous, Orbital Spa and Cruise affiliated, class: Lux Liner (halfway between a transport and a gunboat so it fits in the ship restriction.)
Any KNF vessel is hereby ordered to assist and/or escort these vessels as if they were Kishiro or Samura trade vessels. KNT vessels are ordered to accomodate this and any other approved trade ship with the above pricing at the drop point.
Enemies of Kusari are encourage to attack these ships as if they were KNTs themselves. Don't worry about their tags. Even if they look like they work for Spa and cruise, or another inoccuous company, they are supporting the Kusari war machine.
Quote:This can be a long and fruitful piece of RP for the western side of Sirius, even for the odd mercenary group
who can be a bit realistic with pricing, and ship choice.
He taisted it, and it was good....(The Moody Blues)
I feel that some hunting trips are in order. Me and the gang have had a long winter guarding the Omega-5 jump. I think a few hunting trips up to the Taus would do us a bit of good. I hear they got some nice whiskey up there too.
Notice to [KNF]: All ships with a [color=#FFFFFF]{C}Tag are to be considered hostile Bretonian ships.
Odd battle groups will be sent..
Bountys will be struck..
And maybe a few bait ships will be dangled...
As you all can see, Naval forces missions against Gateway shipping are now being offered at the Battleship Nagumo. We really have no excuses for leaving the GEO alone any more. I have updated with bold print the latest changes.
Below you will find an updated operational guide based on new information:
1) Supply logistics simulation: Convoys are currently running through western Bretonian space hauling Dueterium for fleet fuel supplies. These convoys are comprised of Samura and Kishiro-tagged trading vessels who have been contracted by the Emperor to supply the fleet. Enemies of Kusari are encouraged to attack these traders with fighters or gunboats. Naval forces fighters or gunboats will escort these traders and engage hostiles only when attacked. Kishiro is running its contract operations out of Nago station in tau-29, a prime target for hostiles. Convoys will now be traveling through Bretonia proper, mainly Leeds, Manchester and NewCastle.
Conversely, KNF will be actively hunting down and intercepting traders using tags/IDs of Bretonian companies: BMM, Gateway and Planetform using the same ship limitations as above. Zones of interception will be limited to the Taus, western Bretonia and borderworlds surrounding Kusari core worlds. Of particular interest will be the BMM base in Tau-23, which will be hit regularly in an attempt to disrupt Bretonian raw materials production. Raids on Bretonian corporations are to be conducted with fighters and gunboats only.
2)POW transport: KNF will be consolidating all Bretonian POWs to its new fleet of Prison ships. These vessels will hold the name marker [KNPS]. Convoys will be formed and traveling throughout the sector. Prisoner trades of KNF pilots are possible as an alternative to combat.
3)Fleet battles in the Taus: following the war being fought by NPCs in Leeds and Tau 31, KNF will engage all BAF or BPA IDd ships in the Taus with up to and including Battleships. KNF will be conducting raids into Leeds using fighters and gunboats only. Raids will concentrate primarily on Bretonian shipping. Targets of opportunity will be evaluated with the above conditions as well as KNF current diplomatic standings.
3)Viewing the war in the Taus as one of 2 fronts, western front against the Bretonians, northern front against the Outcasts: Though a level of tolerance and understanding exists between IMG and Kusari, Kusari will view the Bretonians as their primary concern and let the IMG deal with the Outcasts. Therefor KNF will only enter tau-37 in pursuit of Bretonian targets and will not coordinate with IMG units against the Outcasts.
We had our first decent battle in Leeds yesterday.
Many thanks to Kiggles, BillytheKid and Jamez.
Expect more attacks from the KNF.
I had a hard time believing I was fighting the Bretonian armed forces however.
KNF's opponents flew:
-A Reinland bomber
-A Ravenclaw fighter
-a Liberty gunboat
-A Battlestar advanced
Not one Bretonian ship was represented in your forces. I can sort of agree with Jamez in his Liberty Gunboat seeing as he is a mercenary. But the rest of you guys seem to have an allergy to the technology of your homeland.
We can do better than this people. You don't need the ships of other factions. Bretonian ships are state of the art. You should use them.
As for the Reinland bomber. If the SF wishes to drag the RM into this war I would be happy to write up some RP to do it. RM supplying the SF with bombers in a clandestine manner to turn the tide of the war is juicy stuff. But I'm not sure the RM are interested in such things-perhaps they gave you these ships to keep the corsairs in Cambridge at bay? Keep your Reinland bombers in Cambridge to fend off the cap ship spamming pirates if you like, we wont complain. But if you want to use them against the KNF there are political ramifications for your mutual defence allies you may not intend.
The KNF reserve the right to conduct role play oriented operations anywhere in Sirius. We know fully well the ramifications of attacking a faction's home system and accept the consequenses. We do not do this out of a PvP whoring motivation, but merely a way to ignite more active and better role play.
I think it's interesting to note that there's a Kusari military character (not sure if it's KNF or KSP) in the bar on board the Luxury Liner Shetland in Edinburgh. Not sure what you guys would do with this bit of info...

I'm sorry to interject, but I remembered reading something.
This is an excerpt from an actual Rheinland news story:
Rheinland Responding to Tau Events
NEW BERLIN -- Rheinland Foreign Office has issued a press release reguarding recent Tau events. Conflict between Bretonia and Kusari is leading to an inevitable war in which Rheinland will not participate...
I realize this story is somewhat dated, and I know that reguardless of events the stories won't change until there's another update. But as far as RP has been going, the story is still accurate. Am I wrong? The use of a Rheinland Bomber by Bretonia doesn't make much sense and, according to the story, actually violates RP. I don't know if this is at all pertinent-- maybe I just have way too much time on my hands if I'm actually reading the news ...but I thought it was at least something to consider.
