Looks nice, I guess; but I'm rather concerned about the overall structural integrity of the station - the large modules sole connection with the station is with the storage girders underneath the biodome. That can't be safe.
Forgive me if my knowledge of the FPXV's history isn't so well.
But why the hell does it need so many Biodomes? 4 is enough to feed Crete and it's not like Zoners are the primary food exporters for the entire Sirius.

Yeah, I had that problem the first time I tried to recreate FPXV, when I tried to keep the 16 biodomes. I wasn't able to figure out just what was causing it.. I'm not sure it's an FLE error really, but a game one.. I checked the .ini files and the rotations and everything for it were correct, but when I went in game, they were all turned around where they shouldn't have been. I think the game just sometimes bugs it up and as far as I know, the only way to fix that is to remake the base objects and make sure the nicknames for the objects are different from the original ones that messed up.

Note that scale isn't exactly correct in Freelancer.. In reality, those 'skeletal' tubes are really many meters thick, with a small passageway for passage of goods and people. Also, even if it did break off somehow (which wouldn't happen unless someone fires on the connectors), the station would have automatic disaster programs which would block off the areas exposed to space and keep the rest of the biodome and station intact. There'd be more than enough oxygen for the people in the broken off biodome to wait until it's fixed.

The original FPXV had 16 biodomes.. This version only has 10. Freeport XV is the main food production point for all of the Omicrons. FP9 and XV feed Corfu, FP5, Crete, and the other 'sair bases in Gamma. Considering the population levels on Crete, that's a lot of mouths to feed. The Zoners are trying to produce a planetful's worth of food. Not an easy thing to do with two stations, so yes, they would need a lot of biodomes, especially with the increasing populations throughout the Omicrons.
' Wrote:dab, is possible to make the biodomes destructable, as has TBH base in omicron 91? it can add something to attack/defend events
Four of the biodomes are destructible. The ones directly connected to the station, the ones with the depots beneath them. The ones connected to the depots are not destructible.
