Except Liberty Rogues, the House Unlawfuls have enough Reasons to shoot at a Cop, a Pirate at the other Side is a Pirate, being dragged to Piracy, not Terrorism.
Oh and Tycho, remember that there are the Roleplay Demands. A Demand to leave Kansas is actually a Demand. So I don't know what is your Problem now.

I actually have no Problem with pirating Fighters and Bombers and Gunboats. Hell if you have like four Men on the Tradelane I don't care if you pirate me in my LABC (which I gladly don't have.)

Telling the Navy guys to clear off is also a demand. The only thing explicitly stated that isn't a demand is using any form or iteration of asking someone to stop their ship.
So yeah, you still pretty much can shoot lawfuls without having to demand anything tangible.

Zeltak, you can do what you want. Demand millions of credits from Navy pilots. Mug grannies at trade lanes. No one is saying you can't.
How it affects established group's roleplay will also have to be examined. Thank you for raising the matter.
This thread is not about restricting people more so much as establishing what to do with a ID whose wording has implications.
If that is the case then I have no problems here. I understand the fine line between unreasonable demands and simply having a rather logical role-play motivation for an attack, even if some certain people like to call me a pvp-whore (which I don't mind) I respect the set guidelines.

' Wrote:That's pretty much exactly it, Fenian. They can't use it as mini terrorist ID any more. Now it's piracy, piracy and some more piracy of folks who are currently in the process of mining and or trading. There will be no pirating Navy fighters to abuse the ID. Likely there will but that's a matter for sanction discussions.
So... what's the problem with the Pirate ID? A cop got pissed when a Pirate ID'd player pirated him or what? What's wrong in pirating policemen and/or navy?
Wait... cops are poor, but navy, well... they could be transporting something important that sells well on the black market. So why not pirate navy? I really don't get it?
Notice how you forgot to read below that when i realised my mistake. Simple misread changes everything about the way the ID reads. I said you could later on and I meant it. RP demands is fine and dandy.

Nothing is wrong with it. I am just reminding (a lot of) People that a Pirate ID isnt a PvP ID, meaning they cant just run to the Navy with the Purpose of shooting them, much like
Pirate: Oh what do we have here?
Police: Just a random Officer, would you please move on or do you want me to force you to leave this Space?
Pirate: I don't think that I will do anything of those, I prefer you dead *He starts firing at the Police*
There isnt any Demand of the Pirate here, he is clearly being hostile towards the Police and wishes to kill him.
