|||Norfolk Shipyard -> Rogue Gunboat|||
To start off my patrols I had to undock from Norfolk Shipyards, I has not able to undock being bombarded by Pulse cannons zipping pass me. The suspect at hand call sign was Michael Furnedhold. When I flew around I caught him shooting at a dry-docked Dreadnought.
I was able to convince this vessel to leave the area of Norfolk Shipyards, and Liberty Space. No shoots were needed to make this scumbag leave.
I will drop a note on the Criminal Registry.

I was on patrol of the California system, when a confident Junker smuggler tried to fly right past me with a load of Black Market Munitions
Now trying to stop the smuggler was a very difficult task to do, which in turn I was not able to do. He ran though the Ontario > Alberta > Yukon systems to his final destination of Freeport 14. He than stopped and played very wise with myself, trying to taunt me into attacking him a such, I did not.
While once again patrolling the Alberta system I came along him again. I stopped his and told him about his outstanding fines, total of 5 million credits. He than decided to attack rather than pay.
Frankly, this was a bad choice for him/her to do...
|||To High Command|||
Like I said in my above report, the smuggler was bound to Freeport 14, but he chose to fly right though California and other parts of Liberty.
As shown in that guncam, this smuggler was using this Zoner base to get away from the law. AS all of you know, smugglers tend to take advantage of Zoner Bases within or next to Liberty space. I myself had to try to keep myself when this guy cracked some wise comments to me under the protection of the Zoner base.
Now what I am asking is that something is done, so the law does not stop when you get 5k to a Freeport, this has happened to me before and it lead to a full scale battle against some Zoners.
If possible, I would like to see something happen see we all can enforce the law anywhere in Liberty Space.

After changing my ship's transmitter systems to reflect my new position in the Liberty Security Force, I proceeded to Colorado, at which time the system was all but empty.
I then came across an unresponsive Guardian fighter, who, after my threats to use force if necessary, finally powered down his engines and submitted to a scan. The mercenary flying the ship appeared to have no authorization for his equipment, guncam shots follow. Initial Conversation Ship Scan: Weapons Ship Scan: ID Code
After recieving backup from Director Julia Wolfe, who finally convinced the pilot to land on Planet Manhattan to switch the items out, the ship left the area peacefully.
While returning to our station to patrol, Director Wolfe and myself found a Pirate Transport on the trade lane from the Colorado gate to Fort Bush. Although already being stopped by the gunboat LNS Ark Royal, we decided to investigate. The ship had apparently just robbed a Kusari-affiliated trader, the Nippon Maru, who indicated that he had been taxed 2 million credits. After a short conversation with the Outcast-operated pirate transport, the gunners decided to attack Director Wolfe. Being left with no other choice, I opened fire immediately. In a wise decision, the Ark Royal's gunners decided not to fire. Shortly afterward, we were assisted by an unaffiliated Spatial equipped with all the necessary weapons to make short work of the pirate transport.
Though the outlaw attempted to surrender, his pleas came too late, as our supporting Spatial had already fired the kill shot.
After a status check on all involved parties, returned to business. This time it was unconfirmed reports of a pirate gunboat operating in the area surrounding Rochester Base. These reports turned out to confirm themselves quickly enough. The gunboat had been moving to Manhattan orbit, a mistake that would cost the crew its life.
After obviously refusing to pay the 2 million credit tax the gunboat wanted us to pay for him to leave, Director Wolfe ordered all units to attack, and attack we did.
After the destruction of the Rogue gunboat, the rest of the day was relatively uneventful, except for an officer aboard a mining ship complaining about 'poor response'.
Today, I responded to call of LNS-Delusion Liberty Assault Battlecruiser and arrived at planet Manhattan. There I spotted a Barghest class bomber, trying to evade me. After a brief chase, dogfight occured. The ship was joined by another bomber. I fought outnumbered for a while, moments later madam Robinson arrived to assist me and she took out both hostiles with well aimed SNAC shots.
Briefly after the incident, we both safely returned to planet Manhattan and made dock there.

Greetings fellow Navy officers,
I received a distress call from [LN]Arthur.Mark that an Outcast Destroyer was in A*****. I immediately undocked from Moorhead Station and headed there. On my way there, two hostile ships camped the trade lane to NY JG. It was the Maelstorm, a Junker Destroyer, and a Rogue Gunboat, the Heart.Of.Gold. They immediately attacked me without consent and I fended them of as long as they can before help came from the following people: [LN]Arthur.Mark, [TLG]-Bong.Hit, and WolfCrest. 2 were GBs and 1 was I think a bomber. They immediately fired upon those 2. We received help in defeating the 2 from the LNS-Tyrannical. They were swiftly defeated by our combined firepower.
Sadly thou my Gunboat was hit by a Razor that made the main engines caught fire and explode. I was tractored in by my comrades and now rest in Virginia.
Today, I responded to urgent call of Liberty Navy, regarding pirate invasion near West Point station. I was present on the station when I heard the alarm and quickly launched my fighter to the space.
To my amazement, I have seen at least 6, maybe more, hostile vessels, battering down a Carrier of Liberty Secondary Fleet, namely Silent Storm. He was shooting all guns around , trying to fend off the attacking forces. His course was West Point. Only two more navy ships were present at the station at the time, and I gave order to attack the hostile vessels, picking one falcata as my target.
Entire course of battle, which was not going good for us, turned when another Carrier of Secondary Fleet appeared, Sacramento. Gunners aboard the vessel quickly dispatched two enemy gunboats and a bomber.
I changed target to a sabre shooting on me, and after two jousts, forced it to flee at it liked to eat my mines too much. Minute later, situation at west point cleared, with no losses to our side, only heavily damaged carrier.
Moments later, I noticed a red blip on my radar. Although it was out of effective location range, I flew around the station to locate intruder and I succeded. At that time, comms were held by captain of San Francisco, but he did not join the fight, only commanded my ship.
I was ordered to engage and destroy the outcast vessel I discovered, single Sabre class vessel. Battle lasted for few minutes, but the Sabre proved to be no match for mines and vengeance guns, falling to them, with pink colored escape pod launching prior to the last mine hit. I wonder still, why it was like that.
That is all from my report, I docked the ship and taking a sleep now to regain energy for next battle.
An interesting day although it seems the usual rowdy bunch down in California never seem to learn. I hopped on my bomber, and with the Leavenworth, Leevi, Spartan, Officer Zanero, ku, Yakawatta, Ensigns Winchester, Mark and Anderson began our scouring of the California system. Estimates of the opposition forces include 3-4 Outcast gunships, several fighters and a bomber. Few Vagrant Raiders were sighted as well, however they were not in the battle zone. While Ensign Winchesters fighter was shot down, we were successful in repelling the pirates.
I hope to get on patrol more often, however, paperwork has been bogging me down lately. We, including our admiralty along with our other branches of service, LPI and LSF are re-working several of the aspects to make requests, and other procedures more efficient. We hope to put all of this in effect very soon.
Fine work to everyone I flew with today, and as always a pleasure.
There were two interesting events today.
[color=#FFFF00]The First: We were patrolling the lanes in New York, and Vergil intercepted a peaceful message from the RNC Tirpitz. We learnt that they were willing to transfer prisoners of war to us. Moving to a neutral location, the Tirpitz was kind enough to free them into our custody, and they were promptly put aboard the Missouri for examination.
The Second:
We moved to a position commonly considered as 'above' manhattan, and shifted into low-atmospheric orbit to promote the Navy. Soon after, Eva McDowell in the Alsatia arrived. Prior to her outlaw, Vergil and the crew had established a close relationship with Eva and the crew of her various ships. Based on her behaviour overall, we deem any engagement unecessary, as we do with many. We will never initiate aggression. As such, we often communicate with Eva, as she does not break Laws of Liberty and shares our views for peace.
On that note, we would like the Liberty government to increase diplomatic efforts as war and military efforts is driving crime due to lack of police or military availability, destroying trade and killing thousands everyday.
Eva, and a member inside the Rheinland Military that we will not reveal the identity of are working to achieve the same goals in Rheinland infrastructure. But until then.
Clear Skies.

New York was like doomsday again. As soon as I took off from Manhattan, I sighted a sortie of [color=#FF6600][font=Century Gothic]<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%]Nomad ... vessels or whatever they are, fighting a bunch of Bounty Hunters near Newark station. The Hunters had it under control, it seemed at first, so I only focused on steering the civilian traffic away, masking the area as a place for weapons testing.
Soon enough however, more hostiles showed up. A rather large one, at that. I got readings on a [color=#FF6600]Nomad entity equaling the size of a whole gunboat! That right above Manhattan! Secondary fleet vessels and bounty hunters chiefly engaged it, while I still labored to make the civilians go out of harms way and remain there by making the fight drift away from Manhattan's high orbit, further down the lanes. The losses of the secondary fleet were rather heavy, on the verge of myself interfering, even more enemy backup, Outcast zealots arrived.
I honestly ridiculed at their claims to be assisting the alien entities at first, but they actually DID choose to take arms on their side and started firing upon my vessel. I somehow ended up with a fight conducted against a rather cowardly rookie, designated as red_fighter. The vessel, I managed to cripple rather heavily in under a minute, making it choose the path of fleeing. As the ship was already burning up, I threw myself after him, going in for the kill. However, I was blinded by temporary rage as I realized he again, runs better than he shoots.
As a few minutes of pursuit came to pass, I realized there are more important matters to take care of, so I went back to Manhattan. About ten clicks out of the planet, I was again struck with surprise as I witnessed a Geb-class Order light carrier, as well as an Order very heavy fighter combating the Nomad entities. The fight I witnessed was pretty one-sided, the aliens had the upper hand with an obviously superior level of armament and flying skills at hand, forcing the very heavy fighter to retreat.
The light carrier's interference however, caused the alien forces into disarray, and the capital ship also threw itself after them. I couldn't pursue, as I had numerous other distress calls to answer.
There were Outcasts near West Point, Outcasts near Norfolk, Outcasts near Manhattan. I went to the Norfolk-West Point lane first, which was already being secured by an individual called Durandal. The pilot told me the situation was being handled adequately, so I went back to Manhattan, where the pirates were regrouping. However, the presence of Navy capital ships was so high that the majority of the enemy forces retreated.
The ones who didn't do so were scared away by the sight of two arriving Gold wing pilots.
Following all these issues and that New York was secure again, I landed back on Manhattan to commence debriefing.
