Entry Thirty One - 09:54PM (SMT) - 25th March 818A.S.

Well as I was heading back to Freeport 4, I saw a strange reading on my scanners. I headed into the rocks and found an unmatured Nomad. This one was tiny, probably freshly introduced to space. Again, it showed no sign of hostiliy towards me, something I'm seeing alot. Maybe the Nomads aren't so bad afterall.

What I found interesting, was it had an Outcast Inferno. The pulse cannon had literally bonded with the Nomad's biomass, I could even see the nervous system bonding with the energy intake of the gun.

I'm not sure if the Nomad is at the stage of bonding with the tech where it can actually fire the weapon, or use it effectively, but this is similar with what I saw on the LNS-Tundra.

It appears that Nomad Biomass can intergrate seamlessly with human electronics technology. If this is correct, they have surpassed our ability to make biological pulses compatible with true electrical ones.
I saw some similar combinations as a Phantom, but this is something entirely different.

Kansas can wait again, I think I'll move into New York and check out that Anomaly again.

Entry Thirty Two - 10:56PM (SMT) - 25th March 818A.S.

I entered New York, headed towards the Anomaly in the Badlands. I made sure no one saw me, as I am classified as a terrorist in Liberty. My heart nearly stopped though, I saw a familiar signal.

Black Rose. The Phantom who initiated me into their ranks... She was in an Umbrage cruiser, one of the deadliest creations of the Phantoms. I tried to get as many scans as I could, but the plating of the ship prevents me from scanning the structure.

I was lucky though, just as she considered blowing me up or taking me in, an Ion Storm swept in and I managed to slip away. I should go lay low near Minor for a while...

Entry Thirty Three - 06:18PM (SMT) - 26th March 818A.S.

Having just escaped near death, I used Rosey as a distraction to slip into Alaska, back home to Minor. As soon as I approached the jumphole to Minor, I encountered an odd signal. As I entered the opening around Planet Wrangell, I saw the origin of the signal.

It appeared to be a fully grown Nomad, the highest developed form that we have seen to date. It's bigger than any human built ship I've seen to date, that's for sure. I tried to commune with it, and offered it some Rogue pilots and Food Rations.

It gave me some Order Pilots it had harvested in return, showing understanding of the concept of giving gifts. It spoke of my work, showing interest in what I have done and seen so far. We agreed upon a couple of small things, and I questioned the 'family' type structure of the Nomads.

Then the jumphole from Minor lit up, and a Coalition Gunboat appeared.

At first it was wary of the behemoth Nomad, but soon calmed down enough to talk. She introduced herself as Lieutenant Commander Angelica Broch of the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army. Angie was very formal towards the Nomad, and we all introduced ourselves.

As we had just started talking again, we got new contacts on scanners. It was a collection of highly disorganised Order Secondary Fleet ships, a couple of bombers, a Light Carrier and a Recon Cruiser. They were immediately hostile towards the Nomad, engaging in combat.

I watched a little helplessly as they all got slaughtered by the massive guns of the Nomad, barely scratching the body of it. I quickly disappeared into Minor, the SCRA followed me, understanding the reckless actions of the Secondary Fleet, not wanting to stick around and die.

Again, the Secondary Fleet's incompetance has cut my studies short, and prevented me from doing my job. Why do we even have these people around? They cause more trouble than solve problems.

Entry Thirty Four - 11:51PM (SMT) - 26th March 818A.S.

I got a message from Officer Lucy Silsbury of the Bretonian Police Authority, she requested I meet her in New London to discuss my plans for Gaia.

I left the Isis to head for Alaska, encountering an Outcast Destroyer on the way. I called for support, recieving no response from the vessel.

The Secondary Fleet ships surrounded it, demanding a response, when the Destroyer didn't respond, Waratah blew it up. We can't really have a liability like that hanging about, I suppose it was the right thing to do.

I moved through Alaska, heading through New York. I had a few Liberty Navy ships take interest, but losing them wasn't too hard.
One of the Order Recon Cruisers in Minor informed me that a young Chrysanthemum girl is looking for me, could be interesting, or dangerous.

I landed up on Freeport 4 in Magellen, I'll take a transport to Bretonia and secure myself a civilian vessel.

You look at the message contents but instead of text it's made of strange symbols you have never seen before. It's an image of very odd shapes and chaotically colored. Impressionist artwork? Even they would find this extreme. But as you try to focus your sight at the center of the picture the symbols begin to shift, changing patterns very slowly. Unsuspecting this reaction you blink and now everything seems reversed back. A very crafty optical illusion. You try to focus again and slowly, very slowly as you look at every next symbol entire words and phrases appear in your mind. Whatever it is, such odd form of message is probably attuned uniquely to the single person. Every next word is coming harder and harder, and there is intensive headache drilling at your forehead making it worse and difficult to focus.

Looking for the answers even questions escape your mind. How does it feel to make one step closer only realize the path is leading over the horizon so far away it would make even the most stoic ones to turn back.

Do you find a challenge in that?

It feels you are different. Though I question "how different". Others "like" you rarely if ever express desire to open thoughts. Hiding behind barbed wires and thick walls. Although from here, from the outside it would seem many seek to barricade themselves instead, confining into smaller spaces and smaller thoughts.

But do you, like the others, merely seek to make them extinct or do you possess a different point of view? Do you have the capacity to comprehend what words cannot express? Does your memory is able to remember a fracture of a moment of revelation in every tiny detail? Do you put beliefs before the reason and let them decide your actions? It seems you had.

But the most important question is - what you will do once the puzzle will be solved, the moment you unravel it's mystery, the moment you find all the pieces and put them together, making connections and finally getting to the bitter truth? What if it will disappoint you, what if you will find not the answer you were looking for? Do you expect anything? Assuming for a moment you ever will. Would you that moment hold onto the past or embrace the future realizing what is at stake and what is necessary, what has to be done? I would say you would need to possess a greater agility of mind if you still desire to pursue your goal. Yes, I am aware of them, as we all are.

It is of little matter but perhaps you are not so alone in your quest after all.

Entry Thirty Five - 12:39AM (SMT) - 27th March 818A.S.

A few moments ago, I got a strange message. It is certainly cryptic, no clue as to the origin. The message is definately not a case of mistaken identity, or spam for that matter, this message was directed at me.

With this 'Sara' character seeking me out, and this mysterious new voice on the scene. It isn't the Phantoms, definately not their style, and if they knew how to contact me, or where I am, I'd be dead already.

I should watch my step, things are getting weird.

On a more positive note, I contacted that Freelancer who I gave Kenneth too, he is on New London, and is willing to let me borrow Kenneth again. I suspect meeting with Officer Lucy Silsbury in my Karasu would draw too much attention to me.

Entry Thirty Six - 01:13AM (SMT) - 27th March 818A.S.

I arrived on New London, not much to say, I didn't really have time to stick about. I met with the young Freelancer though, he handed over the keys to Kenneth and I launched to meet with Officer Silsbury.

She asked me questions on the nature of my research, and why I should be allowed to visit and study there. We talked for a while, switching over to private comms as the orbit of Planet New London quickly filled with traders and Freelancers.

I eventually convinced her to approve my visa from a BPA-Point of view, which is very good. I'll return to Freeport 1 and order in some supplies. As soon as I'm ready I'll contact Cryer again and forward my papers on to the BPA.

I'm going to Gaia, Yay!

Entry Thirty Seven - 08:48AM (SMT) - 27th March 818A.S.

Just woke up, still a little tired. These nightmares are getting worse...

I found another mysterious message in my inbox, this one in what seems to be morse code. It repeats it's message over and over, as if it's screaming at me to be read.

I left it to run through a translator while I grab a drink and something to eat. Later on I have to pack for Gaia!

Entry Thirty Eight - 10:03PM (SMT) - 27th March 818A.S.

I headed back to Coronado from Magellen, hoping to record a few more of those inscriptions present on the gate there. I moved into the cloud, passing a smuggler and getting a new contact on scanners.
It was a Nomad signal, not a very strong one though.

I attempted to follow, It seemed scared, or wary of danger. I reassured it and attemped to commune with it like I had a few of the others. I gave it a gift of food and material goods, hoping to calm it.

It accepted my gifts and questioned me on my motives. I answered as best I could, trying to figure out it's cryptic thoughts. We talked for a while, I kinda lost track of time...

I soon left it headed to Barrier Gate Station, it tailed me, beckoning me away from the eyes of the Freelancer base. There it dropped a number of Order pilots, returning the jesture of 'gift'.

Another rather successful encounter I'd say, the more time I spend around their kind... the better I learn about them and thier ways. I guess I'll grab a few snapshots of the gate before finally getting ready to go to Gaia.
