[font=Comic Sans Ms]Im running the Liberty Lottery right now, but I was talking to a few friends who thought this might be a good idea so I figured id drop it here and see what we all thought. This doesnt really have to wait for the next version but this looked like the best place to suggest it
Having the admins drop "X" amount of credits into a new character ill make called "[color=#999999]Sirius.Lottery" and run around getting people to enter so the "pot" goes up and then I use my excel program(that I use to pick the Liberty Lottery winner) and we start all over again after that lottery.
It should be easy for the admins to track the money and still have them free to admin and not have to run around and do the lottery thing(which I think is fun)
What I want to know from everyone(admins too) is how much "X" should be, how long the lottery should last, if you think it could work ,and any other suggestions or ideas you have to make it better.
Im off every night and I get on every night so I dont mind doing the leg work!

I am currently flying a Democritus yacht. I like it, and I like the idea of carrying people around the Sirius sector in style and comfort. The best solution for this is of course a Liner, but liners are absurdly expensive and (in my opinion) their cargo holds don't make up for their price. While I was thinking about all this, an idea struck me. Turning trains into "slightly below luxury" liners.
All it would take is an esthetic feature. What about creating a new kind of cargo pod that shows windows on its surface, and call it "habitation module"? This way, any transport capable ot carrying cargo pods would be able to carry passengers etc. without wincing at the thought of VIPs actually stored in a cargo hold...
Just an idea that I throw at you game developers ^^ Let me know what you think of it.
Hello... I don't know if this was mentioned before, but if dev team has some skilled texturers that could modify ship's basic texture, decals would be nice. Of course, this would be only implemented via /pimpship, perhaps for a greater price.
Textures are bound to the ship files. It is possible to have multiple ships use the same mesh and hitbox, yet use different textures- for example, the Chimaera and Katana- but this requires a separate ship file. It would be possible to create more versions of a ship in the same manner, but this is a lot harder than changing the lights, or even engines. In addition, we'd need a new file for every ship that got the new texture, even for small changes.
In short, it's sadly not feasible without ballooning the mod size.
Increase cruising speed to 400 and max ammo to 100
Fill Omicron 93, 96 .. i dont mean stations NPC etc(maybe later).. but now just nebula for example and some construction sites or wrecks or maybe ancient ruins..

Customizable ammunition limits for missiles/CD/mines/CM. That is (while also making the ammunition take much cargo space to for the purpose of balance) letting people decide how much of it they want to carry around onboard. No fixed limits.
People would have broader choice of loadout (defensive/offensive/whatever). Combining it with /autobuy command should not be big inconvenience to players - something like /set autobuy cd 80.
