Oh, BTW, about the Liberty cruiser thing, where the hell did I, or anyone say "cause it's the best there is". You and I both know that a cruiser has nothing to do with the ship, but the skill of the pilot, in fighting, and loading out the ship.

This is the exact reason I brought this up.. First privately. I talk to other factions, as do my subordinates. I'm not the only one that was thinking about the HF's use of only Lib ships.. And there WERE people talking. I tried bringing it up privately, no one would listen to what I had to say on the matter, for the same reason here. You assumed first and foremost, that I was here to bash HF (more like prevent a bashing, but that was only accomplished after I DID start small-bashes) and tell you to stop using Lib Ships (still think Carrier is a no no though.. Lets try to keep that to 1 please..). I was actually here to tell you to start using yours, and your ally's ships. Outcasts, Rogues, Your own readily-available, kick-ass looking, Spyglass..
You know full well how much I've been working at the PREVENTING side of the HF bashes. But when no one from the faction I'm ALLIED to [ask vets here, AW doesn't ally easily] and trying to help, listens to me, I can't just go on politely and expect you to listen eventually. In this case, publicity on the topic was needed, and I gave it. This was after many (abundos) of private warnings and suggestions about the topic..
I just wish I saw some more unlawful ships than lawful ones in your fleet. (Heck, AW is neutral, and we have more unlawful ships than HF atm..) TT told you to.. So um.. Do it damnit! (I shalt hold off on making you pay me until Spyglass I is constructed..)

yeah, you are right. That's why I'm the master diplomat for the faction, and Dab is the leader. He has the time and the will to lead, and I have the time and will to negotiate. Also, the three figures on the AW leadership are opposed and complements each other, and that is what makes the leadership of the faction to work, as one brings to his senses to the other.
Our factions do work very well allied. We have the longest alliance in disco second only to the RM-SF alliance.
That is because we get along well, and because we give everything to fight for the other. Never an AW has betrayed an HF, and vice versa. Never an AW has said no to an HF help request, and vice versa. As long as things keep working like that, the alliance will never die. We are sort of the same faction, but with different tags and goals.
I see that both have a point here. But a question keeps coming to my mind. Do you really have authority to tell them their RP is wrong and that they should change all their ships, Dab?
I know they are LH and all that. But I see that they can have some Lib ships too. Forcing them to change all Lib ships to LH ships costs many billions now.. Also, you can't force them.
For the moment, this discussion is sort of pointless. They should make their fleet a bit more LH-ish.. But that is for them to decide, not for us to command.

About the Spyglass - you're right I guess, Dab.
But concerning the Cruisers/Destroyers: Afaik we can only get Liberty and Outcast (not allied with the Red Hessians - there aren't many others left then). And those two are well balanced in our faction.
Well, once legeonation gets his new cruiser done, I think it's going to be a LH one. I expect everyone to change to it. The Renegade and the Fafnir are really the only ones with any RP, no offense to the rest of you.

No, didn't go behind your back. These comments were not directed at me in particular, but came up to me through channels, and were reviewed as a past incident by me, not as a current and instigated conversation, until I began to speak to my leadership about the situation. You can ask Alpha and Korrd. We talked about this on MSN before, more than once. The consensus was 'I wish they'd use more Outcast/LH ships..'
I've talked to you about this 3-4 times in-game before.. So if you don't remember, its not my fault. I also PMd Tank about this before. Not sure the date. Also talked with TT in-game and on messengers as well.
You know I don't do anything 'behind the back' unless its against an enemy, or potential one. That comment was just pure flame-bait. I didn't go behind your back. Heck, if a subordinate hadn't reported the conversation regarding this specific situation, I'd not know about the conversation. Sorry, next time I'll let HF continue, then get flamed for its correctable mistakes or discrepancies. No faction here is perfect; AW included. Being the leader of AW, I know full well there are problems in it. Some serious, some not so serious. Being in an alliance isn't simply military support and the allowance to travel through each other's space. Helping both factions grow, correct mistakes, and enhance things, is also a part of the process. If you don't partake in that process, you get left behind.

I haven't been telling them to replace their ships (this is where they started going mad when I started talking..). I was saying instead, that its okay to use Lib ships, but not so many. I haven't seen any Sabres, Scimitars, or Spyglasses in HF fleet for some time. Razr was the only one with a Sabre atm. Denelo had a Scimitar.. That was it. No Spyglass, no more than 1 of LF and 1 VHF. I think it took them awhile to realize I was saying 'use more of this.' Not 'Stop using this other one, and use this one instead.'
