Need Heavy fighter weps and shields

Can anyone please tell me where one can find the above? i have been to o49 but the weps seem pretty crap as are the shileds, as i get easily raped by the Corsairs.

for shields, hit omicron delta, planet primus i belive.
and for weapons, what type of guns do you need ? cuz the faction main bases, such as crete, malta, and so on all have their own factions class 9 guns.

Planets Primus and Gammu are actually in an *Unknown system* that is located 1 jump from Omicron Delta, or Omicron Gamma. Locating the jumps will be an exercise left to you though as only 1 has a marked patrol route.
