Hm... do you RP imaginary ships launching, or do you imagine your budies who follow you around as being docked before they say "launching"?
Both ways kinda have that sandbox type playing of a kid shouting "zzzooinng launching fighters pew pew pew Im firin mah lazors" while moving around matchbox cars in the sand kinda feeling.
Back to the carrier...
If you dont want people to say "wtf those hangars cnat hold nuthin" all the time...
Make a single well visible and capable large hangar that really looks like it could handle fighters quickly nad efficiently. Like the hangar is the most important thing. The "axe" kind of ship's snout looks kinda out of place here. It looks like the ship can also ram, but the sideway hangars dont fit into that concept.
Damn - you are a noob =/
The ship comes from both Liberty and Order Battleships with the 'axe' nose shape that both Lib. Dread and Osiris has. Go review those ships again. Nevertheless - i dont mind people saying that the launch bays are too small for the fighters - my point on this ship is to represent as a Carrier - since Discovery doesnt have a command such as /dock 'player name' or /undock "player name". Therefore - no sense for me to increase the launch bay size since almost everyone figures out that those things on the sides are Launch bays.
Your question was "... do you RP imaginary ships launching, or do you imagine your budies who follow you around as being docked before they say "launching"?"
Well, my answer to that question is none. 'WE' - as the whole community - ROLE PLAY them as a Carrier. Not something that we say on system chat - "Sending support ASAP!" and expect to see something coming out of them. No. We use them as a regular Battleship, yet they represent as Carriers for the Faction.
Now, I am told to do another one - for Liberty. This one, I will add on a 'large' launch bay beneath the ship. Not on the sides since few of the community are not much amused with the 'BSG' launch bay look.

I know its the liberty battleship and Osiris design. Thing is... there is always a reason a design is like it is, its not just because osiris and lib battlships had an axe that all lib or order ships must have one. The axe snout is obviously to make it solid in ramming... its a functional design. If you got 2 of those hangars there, that design concept doenst really fit anymore... the hangars are neigher slick nor solid.

More the hangars and the ship looks realsitic and functional, more they will enjoy RPing like that. More the hangars and ships look disproportionate, less they will enjoy it.

That was adressed at Tenacity personally. I would imagine that every individual has his own way of doing stuff.

imo, the more functional, well proportionedm and realistic a ship looks, the better is looks. I'd pay more attention to that than to transfering the concepts seen on Osiris or lib battleships onto other ships.
Dual launch tube tend to make a ship look fat, which is, personally, my main reason why I dislike it. (As to why did I use such a design on my own ship, I have no idea... it sounded good, back then...)
I would also not suggest an extended hangar bay below - I can only imagine it doing the same obesity look to a ship. Instead, I'll suggest a hangar that would be "inside" the structure of the ship. Much like Star Destroyers (hangar in belly) or Federation Dreadnought (hangar one side to another) from Star Wars
and, @ korolia - I dont think it makes the ship look fat, but rather makes it look stout, bulky, sturdy. This looks far more capable of withstanding damage than all the sleek and skinny ships we see in this mod =/ need more rheinland-style designs IMO.
Well, after reading this entire topic [not sarcasm\]
I can say it looks a WHOLE LOT like a Libby Carrier, in both versions.
Rhienland designs in Order ships would be rather bad, Rhienland ships are blocky and long, which would cause problems with asterioud fields, but I know what your gettin' at.
The one in the comparison pic looks the same length as a Kusari BS (heavy BS). The Order Carrier was supposed to be unique, like a one-two-three of a kind. But it got spammed. If the order DOES get a special heavy battleship, I hope its restricted or monitored usage of somehow...

Arches are looking better now.
Launch bays are looking better, but I think it will look better if they are closed at the back, and curve back into the main part of the hull. (Like the above, quoted posted suggests.)
Also, Jinx's point about a medium-level cruiser is true.
Might I suggest removing the windows from the front of the nose? Doesnt seem like there would be enough side-to-side space for rooms to be in there, plus that provides a structural weakness on the part of the vessel used for ramming the enemy =P
