Several weeks have gone by since I've left the academy and have begun my technical flight school. I think I'm adjusting well. I had the privilege of a visit from Vice Admiral Anderson while stationed here on Radford. He's warm and compassionate, yet he radiates an aura of command. He obviously garners great respect and I've seen why. He's humble enough to come down from his perch in the high ranks and fly with the newer soldiers. He kind of reminds me of my father. The Vice Admiral is easy to speak with, yet firm and reassuring.

My father . . . it seems like just yesterday we were fighting over my leaving USI. Now years later, both of my parents are still gone and this burning anger in me hasn't cooled at all. The mental conditioning I underwent during basic has helped keep my emotions in better check, but I wonder if I've been indoctrinated during my time at the academy. I really do feel more patriotic. However, I cannot lose focus of my purpose here in the navy. I will hunt every last one of those animals down and bring order back to this house.

On a lighter note, I've passed my written and practical tests and I've been approved for a guard license. I'm ready for real missions now, I'm tired of virtual training and combat flight sims. Perhaps I'll discuss this with my CO. For now, this is all I have to report.

This vessel attacked me multiple time right outside the Manhattan docking ring. This happened 3 times, an all 3 time his ships was brought down.

I will once again say that this ship should have no right to be within the borders of Liberty Space if it is going to attack members of the Primary Navy Fleet or any law enforcement for that matter.

<strike>As you are well aware, there is currently an on going shooting war between the United Kingdom of Bretonia and the Kusari Empire. The forefront of the war is taking place in the Leeds system, where dozens, perhaps hundreds die each day not only from both militaries in the area, but civilians as well.

Steps have been taken by the Bretonian government to reduce the number of deaths, such as building bomb shelters on the planets and evacuating the planet itself; however many civilians still have their lives at risk each day.

A few weeks ago, some of the men from my engineer corps presented me with a variant for the Liberty Assault Battle Cruiser. The plans outlines the replacement of all mountable weapons, gun ports and crew quarters into large medical bays with state of the art equipment and technology. In essence, I am describing an LABC which has quite literally been converted in a medical hospital cruiser.

I'm sending this transmission because I would like to see this medical hospital cruiser be constructed, and be given the authorisation to contact the Bretonian Foreign Secretary permission to send this medical hospital cruiser to Leeds to treat injured Bretonian civilians.

In order to keep our relationship with the Kusari Empire stable, the medical hospital cruiser will not be carrying any on board weapons and will not treat any Bretonian Armed Forces personnel, only Bretonian civilians.


Furthermore, the medical hospital cruiser will only be in the Leeds system for no more than 7 days. I look forward to hearing your reply.</strike>

Routine patrol duty in the texas system picked up nothing, so i proceeded to the Capitol- New York. The gate to the Texas system was clear, as was the space around the Missouri. I proceeded toward Fort bush- Everything clear still. With a minute's halt, i proceeded toward Planet Manhatten.

Three pirates cut the lane in ambush. A Hacker gunship, a Rogue werewolf, and a Hacker sabre. they were pirating within the system, looking for traders to harrass. There was also a junker in a Salvage vessel, but he was clear- or so it seemed to be.

Repeated warnings asking the pirates to leave fell on deaf ears, so i called in for some help. Lt. Christopher Hood came to assist, to deal with the pirates.

While my intention was to get Recruit Raynors identification in order, Commander Montgomery reported to me that communications had been given a message by the LSFC-Eolus requesting escort to the ****** system. I ordered the Raleigh to intercept the battle cruiser and Recruit Raynor had followed suit. With us in position, we were able to brush would-be pirates aside, and continue to our destination unharmed.




Excellent work to our new addition to the Liberty Navy, who I assume has a proper ship now with the correct equipment onboard. Also, as always, a pleasure working with the LSF and their assets through these trying times.

Once the escort mission was over, our communications had another message as an apparent Rheinland Cruiser named Justin was spotted by a helpful mercenary named Willis. Ensign Thomas, Agent Aegis and Willis rendezvoused at the Mississippi. Due to our enemy being a lone cruiser and us having two bombers, I kept the Raleigh in safe distance, with scanners on maximum. The vessel cruised passed the Mississippi, losing most of his already damaged hull. With little effort, the ship was taken down. Again, good work to Ensign Thomas, Agent Aegis and to the mercenary, Willis.

First day after I got out of bed. Right.. and I thought Its going to be easy. As soon as I set my foot out there I got report about Geb in New York in Zone 21. Few of or LNS ships chased him out to Alaska and finally I think to Minor.

I thought that would be it but I was wrong like usual, soon I got report about Rheinland Military fighter in Texas. I decided to take care of it. Rheinlander was last spotted at Houston, when I got there he moved away to Bering gate. There I have been told it was Rhienland Heavy Bomber and not fighter.. I was a bit glad, those ships are slow, slow enough to give me some target practice after long time in bed. I moved to Bering gate and saw that bomber finishing of one of our patrol gunboats near, bomber was already damaged badly but I couldn't let him go with gunboat pilots. I engaged and soon bomber was destroyed

I managed to save few of our pilots and few others, they are all dropped at Mississippi.

I launched from Manhattan today to see a VR vessel in orbit, who promptly engaged me. His name was VR-Crazy.Barry[DE] and he and his friend engaged me.

Soon after, I defeated the VR- and turned my attention to the second Hacker, named Not.That.Crazy.

Good evening Sahrs, ma'ams. Today I flew for the first time under primary fleet designs. Immediately hooked up with fellow pilot Vic Thorn and Commodhore Robinson, and we did a routine patrol. Found an outcast, he managed to escape into the badlands though, sadly. I contacted a Bounty hunter about it and they'll be on his case.

Later, we got to Texas, and interdicted a Lane Hacker. she was carrying various forms of contraband, including a few of our pilots and some units of cardamine "for personal use." We managed to convince her to drop the cardamine and the pilots, and got an exchange going in which she gave us some pirate rookies she had found, at 2 thousand credits.

After that, it was relatively uneventful, and Commodhore allowed us to take five, so I am posting this report.
