Welcome to the Daumann Licensing Program. Below is a series of FAQ you might find useful to better understand what is a license and how it works
FAQ
What is a License?
A license grants you special rights; like mining or claiming bounties; without having to be an employee and of course dealing with our mercenaries. How convenient isn't it?
Why a license?
Usually Daumann's fields are plagued by thieves, pirates, revolutionaries and other assorted unwanted "humans", we wish to to know who is flying what whenever they are in Daumann controlled space; our patrols have orders to engage anything from pirates, to non-Daumann miners, with a license you don't need to worry about that last part.
Umm... Ok but what do I get?
Depending on your needs, you can get anything from mining rights, to research, and transit permits through Daumann space. You also get docking rights at our bases.
I don't get it. Who needs a license?
- Any miner operating in Daumann's fields in the Omega 3, 11, and 7 systems.
Our fields are: The field to the south of Briesen in O7 - The field near Rugen Station in O3 - and Omega 11 system.
- Any pilot, captain, admiral, god willing to transit through our space for extended times.
-Any co-working transport hauling you ore doesnt need a permit unless he is going to mine, but must be declared here as well. Security vessels (escorts) don't need a permit.
- Whenever we post a bounty a certain group of individuals are usually set as being able to claim a bounty (i.e BHG they are automatically included) but others (YOU) won't. When we place a bounty we will automatically add every mercenary included in this list; if you are here, you are safe.
Ok got it. But how much does a license costs?
Miners have to pay a fee depending on how long they want their license to be, for more information read below.
Groups, corporations associations, organization or any of their variants interested in operating in Daumann space will get a price which varies on a case by case basis.
How do I get a license?.
Getting a license is extremely easy; just follow these steps:
1- Post here. Name, ship callsign, and your intentions, and the systems you are intending to operate in.
2- Also in your post please include the screenshot of your money transfer to DHC-Store according to your contract.
3- In 24 hours or even less, you will get your Operation license; upon receiving your license you are free to operate in the stated systems, the license works as both a personal ID, and a computer expansion card; carry it with you at all times when in our bases, and have it mounted on your ship when on space; the card automatically transmits its information when a patrol requests it, if you don't have it mounted, that means trouble.
Can I see an example of the thing
Sure! here it is:
Name: Greedy Mike
Ship callsgin: Money.maker
License: Miner
ID: Freelancer
Exact description: Mining in Omega 11 diamond fields. I don't want to be considered a thief, so I'm here to apply for a license.
and you will get something like this
Not so fancy but quite handy!
What about mining groups?
Mining groups can get licensing too! But the rates will depend on how many miners are involved, among other stuff; just like with a standard organization. So that has to be discussed via private channels.
So what are you waiting for? Get your license today and get rich! The long range transmitters are beeping already!

Mercenary
Mercenary licenses are free; after all we will be the ones paying in the long run.
Miners
Non Daumann (a.k.a "non-corporate") miners are not allowed to mine our fields; if you don't have a Daumann
ID you will want to get a license.
30 days permit = SC 100.000.000 - Paid at once
15 days permit = 70.000.000 - Paid at once
7 days permit = 40.000.000 - Paid at once
Trade groups
Some groups usually transport goods from or to our bases; these groups can get a license. The cost of the license varies depending on the nature of the goods and their destination. These licenses are also known as "Transit" licenses.
Special licenses
Special Licenses are granted to individuals with different purposes; research for example. These licenses are also called "Space Clearance" licenses
