Ship Request

The Container Transport was made into a Kusari ship, which is fine, even though it doesn't look very Kusari-ish. Bretonia got the Shire.

Can Rheinland (and Liberty I guess) get a similar ship? One with less cargo space but impressive firepower and about the same maneuverability as a 5k?

Would be a nice addition to the current shipline.

I dont see why it even needs new stats. The C-trans and Shire are copies of each other stat wise, we can just come up with a Rhineland and a liberty version.

Also I think there is a Rhineland offering aswell but it was a while since I had the transport discussion.

Titanic is also Rhienland and Gallia.


A new Kusarian model is needed for it, it's a Star Wars import currently.

I really think we should just rebalance the Heavy Tanker (Titanic, I guess) to do better with them surviving. Say, give it a CM and we can call it even? 6 guns in any direction still isn't anything to be scoffed at. Just load it up with pulses and imagine a Gunboat or Transport trying to fire at you. Oh, the lolz.

But, Liberty could use a good mid-high range transport other than the Mastodon. Should still be a significant difference in cargo, though, so there is still a choice between offensive capability and huge cargo. I would say...3800-4100? Not like a C-Trans where the choice is obvious, like in Bretonia...

CM are pretty much useless for transports since there only use is helping vs missile spam. They are unuseful vs CDs.
And still, with 6 guns, you still get your ass handed by any PTrans and even maybe some PTrains out there.

And the Titanic is actually a civilian line ship.

Rheinland and liberty need container transports with stats identical or very similar to the Kusari and the Bretonian ones.

I'm in the opinion that CMs are actually very helpful versus CDs. What you need to do is get into a position where the pirate can't see that you're charging Cruise until it's at about 80% (Which can be done by flying in the general direction of a Trade Lane and then veering a little bit), and them spamming them relentlessly until you're 3k away. Of course, that's just coming from the guy that's only every been successfully pirated by Phate.
