Server will be down on thursday, 6th July 07, 10:00-14:00 GMT. I will be replacing the current motherboard with the new one which is more overclocking friendly.
I will probably have to reinstall it so it may take longer than 4 hours, patience, please...
Basically we should now have over 50% more processing power than with original settings.
I raised the player limit up to 75, let's see how it works.
Our processor on this motherboard can run stable even with FSB@500 and CPU@3.5 but the current limiting factor is the memory, we would need to upgrade it to at least 800MHz one.
I will have to pay some extra money for the better motherboard so I will gladly accept any donations...

Thanks
Let me be the first to say THANK YOU!
I might be able to scrounge up some money from somewhere...

I though of unlinking FSB and RAM ratio, but I read that 1:1 is best and using different ratios affects the performance. I'm not really an expert on overclocking, so I always try to do something that has been done before.
Let's test the current configuration, and I am sure if we need more, there still is some space left with the current HW...
Ahh I understand what you mean Majk, but, restricting the ratio (by unlinking or setting an alternate ratio) only affects the performance in a positive way or not at all rather than negatively. Let me give you an example.
say you have slow Ram, 400 mhz (as its DDR, its actual speed is 200). You want to match this with the CPU as you OC it, to obtain the best performance, but it wont budge from 400. You set the FSB to 410 MHz, which means that if you do a memory intensive task, the CPU will be held back by the memory. If its a CPU intensive task, using little or no memory, then it runs faster than if it was linked.
The reverse is true if the actual speed of the memory is faster than that of the FSB.
But hey, what do i know, i busted my old motherboard, my XP install and BIOS, taking half the Hard drive with it (Thanks for the help Hood!)..
I will be on once I recover the last of my ancilliary accounts:).
