Seen them live... great band!

Nice stuff Ventana.

Also, this will knock anyone's socks off:

D.R. Hooker - Free

EDIT: After listening to Tempel, let me rephrase that into "Very nice stuff, Ventana."

Was at a Patti Smith concert yesterday, wanted to take some bootlegs but my chicken sister saw a "no cameras" sign and insisted she carry my cam all the way back to the UN parking lot so she wouldnt be arrested at the entrance of her favorite singer of all time's concert.

Anyway... here is a bootleg of a patti concert by someone else one year before in Frankfurt.

The performance in Bonn was even better, she finished the song with "Jesus died for somebodies sins... thank you Jesus!"

Patti Smith - Gloria

Jeru the Damaja? I can't believe I've never heard of him before. And Illmatic, well...it speaks for itself eh?

Nas - Represent

a couple more from back in the day -

Wu Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck

KRS-One - Remember

They just don't make em like they used to. Sadly, that's not just me being nostalgic - not when Lil Wayne is voted Best Rapper Alive by TIME magazine.

Golden Sun Main Theme (Extended) - Motoi Sakuraba

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
